Morning Players Unite

I've got a pretty shitty schedule for league. I work odd hours, have a non-gaming girlfriend, other hobbies/interests, but still like to make time to play. I often question why because it feels like I'm being punished for playing.

Solo que is tough to grow in. Even when I find time to train a certain role, it's often derailed by trolls, dcs, and countless other variables that prevent me from playing how I want to. I invest pointless hours into league because people want to turtle and try to overcome these difficulties, and who can blame them? They are going to lose precious elo or (god forbid) a qualifying series because players are feeding/afking for not getting their role or because they don't like one another; or because some sad sack cannot afford a decent internet connection and is still trying to play a game that is supposed to be fun. It's a vicious cycle that everyone is just hoping to come out of on top.

Solo que is also lonely. I'm used to working on teams/clans/guilds to build comradery, and have fun while playing. Building friendships in game is quite difficult due to the nature of matches, so I turn to the forms.

I know I'm not the only one who plays in the morning; I've seen you online. I'm also betting that most of the people playing in the morning want a place to find 5s and 3s teams, and duo partners for the same reasons I've listed. I hope this forum can turn into a thread for those of us that play at odd hours to connect and enjoy the game.
