I thought Gaymer was just a meme to Gamer but they're legit about it when they say they're Gay(mer)

I dont hold anything against that but LMAO

I was reading through their rules and thought maybe I should try to join them but it was too serious

You can join us if you want, we also have straight members and welcome them. But yeah we do take our group serious, but we still have a good time.

Do you really need the term "Gay-mer"? Why can't it just be gamer, or is it something like "Girl-Gamer"? If you are a casual, then your friends (if you play with your friends) probably already know.(If with Randos, why would they need to know? everyone is an asslamp anyway and prob flame.) Playing competitively, why would it even matter? Skill, not sexual/gender, that is what matters. If its to have a distinction, why not just go with LGBT?

Because WE ARE GAY lol. It matters. This is a LGBT group but we accept straight people but we have to label our selves that way to attract other gay players. And the "gaymer" term is not something we made up. That term has been around for ages. We know our demographic.

Then why not use LGBT group/clan/server/ect..? It might be my views on splitting demographics with in a sub-culture, but why use the Gaymer tag when you have a name to your group? The Scarlet Academy-LGBT Community, it states who you are looking to attract. Like I said though, I could be my views on split demographics, like the binary gender split on "girl-gamer" and "Pega-sister" in the "Brony" community when it was BIG, I just don't understand. (I mean sub-culture because the gaming community doesn't really matter to the world, we are kinda represented by "Typical fat, sweaty, white guy" on the internet.)

I don't think is hard to understand. The Sacrlet Academy is group of gamers that are part of the LGBT community. We use the the Gaymer tag to let others know that important fact. If we name ourselfs The Sacrlet Academy-LGBT Community, we are not going to attract that specific kind of people, gamers.

Now that makes more sense, it might also help that I'm reading this at a reasonable time and not 28 hours into a 48-hour clan marathon.
