Stuck in Bronze

Hello everyone, this is my first time posting in the community, and this post is technically more about how I can get out of Bronze than team recruitment. But I do definitely want to find a team.

I've been playing for 5 years and I never got past Silver 4. This system just seems to be getting harder and harder and I'm kind of at a loss here as for what to do. In the current season, I'm ranked Bronze 3 and I've had my fair share of being demoted, playing multiple games and ending up with the same or less LP than when I stared. I'm kind of admitting that it's just not fun anymore.

I'd like to believe I'm a generally competent and good player, though of course I still make dumb mistakes in game, but sometimes, I have no idea why I lose. I'm just looking for someone to check my match history and tell me what I'm doing wrong. I'm also looking for teammates I can rely on and have synergy with.

In the games I play, there rarely seems to be any team cooperation and whenever I try to suggest something to someone, they get mad and our whole team spirals out of control in terms of skill and motivation. People in Bronze give up so easily and, frankly, are so sensitive to criticism. I don't think they understand the importance of cooperation and strategy. I rarely see people consistently aware of what's going on in the map and being able to decide when it's the right time to farm or go off by themselves. I can't speak about it, otherwise they get angry. There is nothing I can do to help a losing team. And I always find myself getting so frustrated over this.

Games are supposed to be fun and right now, I don't have fun. I need a reliable and understanding team that can communicate. I'm not the one in the team to carry, no. I can't. Even if I do well in lane and throughout the whole game I just can't carry my teammates. I'm trying to understand why and I need second options. If any of you are interested in making a team and talking about duoing, just comment. I'd love to hear from others and see what they think about this whole Bronze Elo hell.

I play primarily ranked as mid and adc, occasionally support. Bronze is a place where I fester and watch as my other friends get boosted. What strategies could I use to get out of Bronze? What can I do to keep a level head in game? What can I do when my teammates aren't cooperating? Just some questions I've always been wondering. I also wonder how match making works. It just seems to me that I'm either paired with a good team, completely destroying the enemy, or I'm paired with a bad team. Rarely do I have someone who can carry me or some teammates who will help with carrying. This is why I'm looking for some people to play with. Soloing while I'm angry from losing the last few games won't do me any good and I honestly think a lot of this is luck based too. You have to be lucky enough to get a good team and lucky enough that the enemy team isn't too good in comparison.

So just let me know what you guys think. I'd really like your opinions and suggestions. Thanks.

i noticed lux is your highest mastery and 2nd highest win rate. I going to be focusing on advice for her specifically because i main her and a lot of the gernal advice seems to have been covered by other people.

  1. stop rushing ludens. lux had mana problems and really needs a morello really bad. on your 1st back you should be getting lost chapter no matter what. if your struggle you can get an early dense item such as negatron or seekers, but in most cases your going to get morello after( bar zed and maybe talon). afterwards you can then get a lundens 2nd in most cases. vs alot of tanks and dive you get get lrandrys instead if youd like. alot of times you want void next but if your snowball or there all squishy get dcap 1st. most of the time for the last item i get hourglass but you can also get liandrys here if then dont have much dive threat. do not build lich bane zzrot or gunblade on her plz.
  2. you win games with lux primarily through doing 2 things. warding up and looking for picks especially squishys (you can one shot the adc or mid if they dont have defensive items at around 2 items). you deal a lot of aoe damage in teamfights and can provide utility with your shield slow and snare. most of the time just sit behind the tank and hit whoever you can while keeping yourself and the adc alive. 3.WARD. someone mentioned you went a whole game w/o buying a control ward. vision control is really improtant on lux. not only for catching ppl out but also for not getting caught.
  3. your snare is your most important abilty bar none. it helps you catch people its your only real way to escape a gank and getting caught out, and its kinda hard to land your ult if there not cced.
  4. for runes you should run a standard ap page. m pen red armor yellows me blues flat ap quints. you can run others as well but stick with this for now. 6 your masteries are fine except battle trance. take double edge instead.
  5. for summons always run flash obviously. for the 2nd one i generally run barrier but ghost, teleport are also options. take exuast vs assisin match such as zed,talon,fizz ect. you can take heal if you know for sure the enemy isnt taking ig. cleanse can be sisitutional but i genrally dont like it as i find most low elo people dont press it fast enough to matter. stop taking ignite. its only really good when your in lane and lux dont snowball hard enough off a kill or too for it to be worth it.

thats all i can think of off the top of my head. if you have any questions let me know.

zzrot on an assassin like lb or katarina is troll. read the item description. it scales on health and since they changed it, its no longer something u can just leave in a lane to perma push so much cuz the range is lower. get a ga instead of zzrot cuz ur trolling yourself.

i have one question;

28 games on Irelia, 78% win ratio. why are you not spamming her? in season 6 you had a 56% WR after 84 games, again why not spam her?

le blanc has a 44% WR with 25 played, stop playing her, S6 115 played 42% WR stop playing her, either your mechanics are not good enough yet to snowball out of control or she just isn't your thing. sure you have a 71% WR in the last 7 games, but over-all your stats do not lie.

as for your play, 0 vision wards (control wards) placed, have you got any replays?.

General Advice;

so your enemy is taking a drake? you probably can't steal/are far away, but a wave is pushing? burn that tower to the ground and retreat, go to a side lane push 1 wave, retreat.

your enemy is getting a free baron and you can't dream of a hero steal play? - push the lane thats pushing you out as far as you can, it will limit there siege time on your turrets.

there are 4men in bot lane? push your turret, if you can't, go mid/top and push that, burn the tower to the ground (AKA a rotation), ping the turret so your mid knows what your doing, tells you to retreat? don't listen, just don't.

you might be able to clean up a team fight but by the time you get there it may be lost and if you screw up mechanically you will die too? - push a turret, ignore the team fight and the pings.

And all of your rune pages are bad. Look up a build guide for you champs and just copy the runes suggested until you get a better game knowledge.

32 minute abyssal scepter on an assassin is not really good either. magic resist on squishies is ok early game but you would be better off working towards a deathcap as 3rd or 4th item. your ap support could build the abyssal scepter for the passive to help your team, but as a 3rd item on you... so bad. make it your first item if you're struggling in lane. if you're winning lane get something like item 3152 item 3100 item 3165 item 3146 item 3285 depending on what champion you're playing as first item, then try to either smash your lane into the dust and get tower, roam bot for double kills and drag control, you can try to track down the enemy jungler and kill him while they're farming their jg. There's a lot of stuff you can do to snowball the game, and some things you might not be aware of that would help you carry harder.

Barrier sona is troll. Exhaust is the most op sum in the game besides flash and you should learn when to use it. Lux ignite into xerath would not ever come in handy because hes not going to get close to you. Better to have barrier or tp. Bloodlust on jinx is a mistake cuz shes all about attack speed bursts -> stacking fervor. ap marks are very inefficient, lethality marks on katarina is a head scratcher. Should be full magic pen marks. You should have a rune set scaling or flat hp seals with flat magic resist for ap matchups you can win. Don't need flat armor for your early game vs ap. You're building an hourglass later anyways which has a bit of armor when it would be relevant for teamfights with ad champs involved.

So looks to me like despite playing this game for 5 years, you haven't read exactly what every item does. The champs you are playing can easily carry games if you know what to do with them. So I imagine there's just a ton of gameplay mistakes you make also that you could fix by either watching replays of your games yourself or by having a higher elo friend review your gameplay for you.
