Sick of teams that fall apart after a week? Tired of people not showing up to practices? Want teammates you can rely on for the long term, sticking it out through thick and thin on the Rift?

Then Sway Gaming is probably the team for you. Due to some life complications, there is currently an opening for a Top Laner on our starting roster!

For Top:

Looking for a meta player. Someone with a very wide champion pool. Knowing your limits (split push vs grouping, starting fights versus following up, as examples) is a HUGE asset that the team looks at. That said there's been a large variance in top laners so really, looking for someone that's really dedicated to the role and improving constantly.

Players out of high school will likely be contacted first just due to a wider availability in terms of later gaming.

The team is currently enrolled in the CompeteLeague Gold + Plat Qualifiers, so someone currently in Gold or Platinum would be strongly preferred! Applicants that main the role we are seeking will have a higher priority for tryouts than those that do not, but the team will do their best to reach out to everyone that applies.

In terms of communication, having a smartphone is mandatory. Sway as an organization hosts a Discord server, and the team usually uses that for text communication outside of the game as well. A Twitter account is also required of all members on any active members of Sway

Practices will be 7pm EST to 11pm EST on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, so please make sure you can be available for those times before you apply.

We will be placing players on the active roster based on synergy and overall gelling, not skill. So do not assume because you were Diamond or something you will just get the spot.

This team is very interested in players that are strongly committed to the idea of improving themselves and improving the teamwork at the same time. I am currently playing with a team that has the same mindset, though you guys seem a lot more organized. That being said, I would like to tryout for the Adc role. As a sub though. The team I'm currently on has the same practice schedule so me being on isn't in doubt. I'm fresh out of high school so I have way too much free time. I was Gold V in the pre season and I'm currently Silver 2, making my way to Gold. I would love to sub in for an organization like this, just in-case somebody cant make it or something happens. I just want to be involved. IF however I cannot be on the team for reasons you will decide on. My team that I am currently on would LOVE to scrimmage you guys. We're currently hunting for a Mid laner ourselves, but we should be right on track shortly. It would be fantastic if we could practice compositions and strategies against another like minded team. Silver 1 climbing back to (preseason) gold . Top lane Preferred role: bruiser or tank but I can play carry style champs Would love to get some more info on schedules and things of that nature. Draven

role:top champions: i can play a wide range of champions including meta and off meta, tanks and carrys. that being said, my mains are fiora,trundle,urgot,shen,J4 and tryndamere rank: S5 i know my rank is low but i hope you will not judge me too hard on that front and at least give me a tryout i have been rather...unlucky you could say My time zone is EST as well i currently reside in florida age:17 soon to be 18-- currently out of school and can be at all tryouts

Im looking for an at least slightly serous team because i am serous, i try hard to understand and to improve my weak and strong points alike I am a very strong laner in solo q i win lane hard 90% of the time and i know when to back off and at the least not die (witch seems to be a hard concept for the people i play with) i am also capable of holding my own in a 2v1 if the game calls for it and when i play with my friends in the mid game i become the shot caller however i know that in the mid to late game i can make bad independent decisions do to lack of being prepared for the unexpected or my own unawareness
