Welcome everyone to the official recruitment thread of; Rumors of a Retribution [LeROAR]! DO NOT ADD ANYONE FROM THE TEAM, WRITE YOUR APPLICATION & FORBITTEN ROSE WILL ADD YOU! PLEASE LOOK AT PRACTICE TIMES!!

We are recruiting again, because albeit the fact that we had wonderful applicants, we decided to make a change to our permanent roster and move our Top lane to Mid, since he is actually an even better mid and had wanted that position to begin with. So now we need to find Top laners instead.

A little about the team & players: LeROAR is a serious plat/diamond ranked team, our goals for the team is to gather synergy, practice & get to a point where we do tournaments at least twice a week. Within the next few months, we would hope to get our official team to diamond, so we can get our name out there! :) As the team progresses we will also be looking to get analysts and coaches. We will be looking for plat+ players, however we are open to lower ranks, obviously you'll have to prove yourself.

Currently this is our team: SyKo Sanity: I am the ADC. I am currently Diamond 5. Zahaross: Is the Jungler. He used to be Diamond and is currently Plat 2 this season. He is our main shotcaller. Marcu: Is the new Mid and used to be our Top. He is Diamond 5 and helps with calls. Forbitten Rose/Sara: She is our support and team leader currently. All requirement will happen through her. She will be doing interviews as well.

Practice Times: We start practice at: 9PM-10PM PST or 12PM-01AM EST And we usually play for like 4 hours.

Currently searching for:

  1. Our main Top laner.
  2. At least 2 subs, whom between the two of them can sub for each role.

How recruiting will work: Post on this board and you will be contacted by Forbitten Rose, filling the application is appreciated, however we will be doing an interview process, where we figure out all the important stuff and go through our rules. After we've interviewed, we will be doing two games to check your play style and see if we can all work together. We do have some quick rules posted here, because people that can't abide by these, need not apply.

Rules: -You must have Curse Voice. (Later on for tournaments, it will be on TeamSpeak, so that is something you need to be able to do in the future). -You must have a good personality, you must not be a flamer/rager/afk'er etc. -You must be able to take constructive criticism and hand it out in a constructive manner. -No "smurfs", that are in Bronze who can't add me on their main for various reasons... -No extreme immaturity, we aren't ageist, but if you are under 18, we do expect you to still live up to the standards set by everyone else.

Currently plat 1 jg main. Can try out for sub position at mid, support and jg. I play only 2 mids and 2-3 supports so i'm actually quite good at what I do play. In jg i've been playing so long I've mained quite a few champs. However i have a lot of games on nid, lee, j4 and grag this season. I work a job that has shifts kind of all over the place, so no guarentee that I'll be on every night. But when I am it's usually around 12-1 est like your post said. I need a new headset, so i can listen in teamspeak/cv atm but can't speak until I have a day off to go out and get a new one. Feel free to add me, we can always chat and figure out if I'm a good fit for the team. At the very least I'm on quite a bit to make up the 5 people required to practice.

I'll be on around 12:30 est tonight.

Age: 15 IGN: AguThemeerkat What you're applying for (Mid or Sub): Id like to apply for mid, but i can also play jungle very well. Role/s: Mid/jung sub Rank: Diamond 4 Voice communication: I have skype and teamspeak, although i dont currently have curse voice. I can install it if I get into the team though. Top Champions: For mid- Yasuo, Ahri, Vlad, and Xerath. For Jungle- Pantheon, Rek'sai, and Lee sin. Weakest Champions: Mid-Cass and Azir, although thats just because i dont play them much. I can improve on them if you'd like me too. Jung-I dont like to play only tank junglers, but I build Panth/Lee/Rek full tank after my warrior jungle item. Strengths: As a jungler, I'm very selfless. Im willing to die in order to secure several kills for my teammates, or a large objective like Baron or Dragon 5. I also always donate second blue buff to mid, unless they arent playing a champ that uses mana or they dont need it. I like to give red buff to adc's early if they want it. As a mid laner, I like to snowball.I can continue to kill my lane if I get ahead with early ganks, and I can also roam bot or top. Weaknesses: As mid-prone to tilting if I'm getting camped very hard. As a jungler-If i get cheesed early or just die, I will just farm in order to become tanky and not gank unless its a very easy kill. Experience in a team environment (You don't have to have had any!): Ive played in several teams before, as adc and mid, but none were very serious and disbanded after several games. What I can bring to the team: As a jungler, I focus on getting my team ahead in order to win games. I try not to steal kills, I dont tax lanes very much, or take all the buffs. As a mid laner, I like to play aggressive. If i can get ahead, I like to press my advantage either in lane or by roaming. If the team just needs me to farm on a mage like Xerath, I can also do that.

I live on the east coast, so the practice time might be a problem. For now in the summer I have no problem staying up till 3 A.M. But when school starts in very late august, that won't be possible.

Name: Ryan Age: 18 IGN: Pushup What you're applying for (Mid or Sub): Sub Role/s: Support, Adc, Jungle (can mid and top if needed but those are my best 3) Rank: Gold V Voice communication: Mic with Skype and Curse, can get other programs if needed Top 5 Champions: Sup - Leona, Braum, Thresh, Annie, Morgana, Adc - Jinx, Sivir, Twitch, Lucian, Caitlyn Jungle - Wukong, Sejuani, Udyr, Yi, Pantheon Weakest Champions: The ones I don't play...? Strengths: Aggressive support playstyle, usually burn summoners or get kills at level 2. Good mechanics on my junglers and good ganking pressure and dragon control. More passive as an adc, I usually focus on freezing lane and staying alive so our jungler can snowball elsewhere while bot lane goes even. Confident in my ability to make wise decisions and play from behind in all roles. Can accept criticism and be critical of myself. Weaknesses: As an adc, sometimes my kiting mechanics are poor, but it depends on the champion. Champ pool is also weaker as an adc; I really wouldn't be super comfortable on anyone but Jinx and Sivir. As a support I like to dive, so sometimes my peel isn't there if I'm locking down their carries. Experience in a team environment: Lots. I've played on several fives teams, especially these last few weeks. Looking for a more permanent and serious team, however. What I can bring to the team: Versatility in lanes and good teamfight champions to snowball leads. Good game knowledge and map awareness, excellent communication, especially when it comes to timers and tracking enemy jungle movements or MIAs.

Name: Matthew Age: 18 IGN: Suparook What you're applying for (Top or Sub): Top or Sub Role/s: Top, Mid Rank: G2 (Haven't played ranked in awhile, used to be on D Team) Voice communication: Curse, Skype, TS3, and etc. Top 5 Champions: Kennen, Maokai, Rumble, Gnar, and Irelia Weakest Champions: Ryze, Singed, and Kayle. Strengths: Agressive duelist (Usually wins lane), Map Awareness, Good positioning in teamfights, Good tanking. Weaknesses: Warding (My map awareness covers for this). Experience in a team environment (You don't have to have had any!): Been on a couple Plat and Diamond teams, and have faced many challenger top laners. What I can bring to the team: I can bring the team a strong and versatile top laner with a good champ pool. I can handle criticism and can help make the team more friendly and more team orientated.

Weakest Champions:

Strengths: Laning and teamfighting.

Weaknesses: Objective control/vision

Experience in a team environment (You don't have to have had any!): Multiple teams. Disbanded due to others not showing up sadly.

What I can bring to the team: Unmatched dedication and a positive attitude.

About me: I am a perfectionist who will never give up. I think I have willingly surrendered a game maybe twice. I notice every mistake I do and aim to fix it as soon as possible. I never rage and am always a team player. I am also very decent at teamfight shotcalling. I feel I play at a mid-high plat level and will be grinding solo queue so my rank matches my skill.

If my current ranking is too low for you I completely understand however I think it will be very beneficial for you to try me out.

Insanely aggressive also.
Weaknesses: boring matchups that consist of 1 side getting steam rolled during early phases of the game Experience in a team environment (You don't have to have had any!): Played for a team for a month or so, but we got the team to plat before it disbanded What I can bring to the team: Safe and controlled top lane who doesnt over extend.
