LFG/LFM - Looking for weaker players who want coaching
This is primarily an experiment. There is no limit to the number of people I'll take under my wing as of now, but there may be if it gets out of hand. Realize that I am NOT a professional player, but definitely do have the ability to teach people things. I've tutored players before, but schedules usually end up getting in the way of a long-term tutelage, so I'd like to set some ground rules for signing on:
- MUST be able to play for a minimum of two hours per session.
- MUST be accessible sometime between 10 PM - 2 AM (MST/MDT) on weekdays (Mon-Thur), and between 9 PM - 3 AM (MST/MDT) on Saturdays. Fridays and Sundays are typically not good.
- MUST be able to meet at least 3 days per week, allowed for a maximum of 5.
- MUST be punctual, or you will have to wait until we are no longer busy. Allowance of up to 4 minutes late will be given before we start without you.
- MUST follow a schedule that is the same every week; exceptions are possible if scheduled in advance.
- MUST give adequate advanced notice of expected absences.
- MUST NOT have any attendance problems in the first week you start, or you will no longer be eligible for tutoring.
- MUST have a competitive spirit and willingness to actively listen and learn, even if you don't necessarily agree with everything.
- At times, I will have duties that prevent me from being available for tutoring on certain days. Advanced notice will be given in the event of such occasions.
- Competing with other students is encouraged, so long as it remains friendly.
- Forming of teams with other students is encouraged, but breaking off from the main group to do so is rude, and therefore not encouraged. Expect to have teams' rosters temporarily scrambled on purpose sometimes.
- Expect to be taught to the extent where I would want to be on your team. Possibility of eventually forming an "A team" with me on it is high, and hoped for.
- Joining up with the gaming clan at warriornation.net is highly encouraged, but not required. Communication would be dramatically improved if a student joins.
- Upon posting an application, make sure to include your IGN, main role, most desired topic to learn, reason for wanting tutoring, and whether you are an adult or a minor (minors may have to be accommodated). Being 13+ is required, no exceptions. Being 18+ is usually better, speaking in terms of maturity, and highly preferred.
- While this is primarily targeted toward weaker LoL players, anyone is welcome to apply. I'll be honest with you and tell you if there's anything you have to learn from me.
- Don't let this get in the way of real life; if you don't really have the time to be sparing on games and should be taking care of real life issues, just don't apply.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
