skype is a bad software for team games reason, unless your entire skype is using 100$ headsets its not possible to modulate voices correctly I'd recommend discord, since it allows for everything skype does, but is overall a better experience since

never offline
customizable voice modulation built in(you can turn people down individually ++++++)
custom roles -custom everything -etc
