I am looking to join a ranked team (currently bronze but my stats prove otherwise)

I am looking for players within the same skill range statistically. I understand it is a team game, and I feel like I have the potential to compete at a high level, but I feel it is very difficult climbing the ranks by myself. My career based stats boasts:

*4 penta kills *57% Winrate with Wukong *53W39L *KDRA- 10.3/7.3/7.3 *KRDA-11.4 / 6.9 / 8.2 over the past 10 games

I like to play: Wukong, Darius, and Garen at the Top and Jungle positions. I have achieved Mastery Level 6+ for all of these 3 champions. My profile can be viewed further in depth at http://lolprofile.net/summoner/na/Sarahs%20Husband#Summary. I hope to play with some of you soon, and be sure to add me.

(commenting because when people bs I get triggered aka "my stats prove otherwise") Actually your stats say you do belong in bronze if you seriously want to get better just spam garen and malphite.

Actually, according to your stats, you are closer to Bronze 3 or Bronze 4 than you are to your current division.

Honestly. If you want to be playing at a high level then your average deaths should be less than 2 in bronze, probably 1 or less (to be honest). Average kills appears fine but the deaths tells me you wouldn't be able to make it in "high elo". Also 57% winrate really is not that great considering being in bronze. You look like you might be slightly better than whatever your current division is, but only by about one or two positions within the division you are in (i.e. Bronze 3 to Bronze 1)

How should I go about in reducing my deaths, but at the same time racking up kills and applying pressure to the opposing team? Also, I looked at your rank, and see that you are pretty high up there. How long did it take you, and did you do it solo queuing?

I had to do the same thing at the end of season 4 ( where i stalled out at silver 5).

The first thing you need to do is realize it's solo que, you have to balance being a good team mate, while also realizing that every fight a team mate decides to take part in, you don't have to follow. Especially if they got caught out. This single thing will drop your average deaths.

Furthermore, a thing I've noticed recently is a lot of people force fights for far too long instead of taking a won trade. for example. You invade the enemies jungle to find their elise killing wolves, a fight ensues and you're winning it, you're half health she's at like 400 health, rather than chasing her throught he jungle hoping to get that last hit, back off. Why? because you're forcing her to back before she can be useful again, while you're still healthy enough to do something. SMALL advantages add up, you don't always have to go for the kill, most of the time just forcing someone to back multiple times can win you the lane, or let you get an advantage in gold or exp that you can use to snowball the game more safely without forcing fights.

I haven't watched any of your games or anything but, this was my own personal issue when I was silver.

Second thing would be to think about how bounties and gold exchange hands, I'm going to put up 2 different k/d/a's

7-1-13 25-10-7

which one looks more impressive to you? Most likely the 25 kill game, seeing as how you quoted a 20 kill game earlier. but think about it. Are you getting kills? yes, are you getting gold? yes. Do you look impressive? yes. But in a game where you're dying 10 times as well as getting kills, you're giving the enemy team gold, over, and over, and over. Where as int he 7 kill game, yes, it doesnt look as impressive, and yes you have more assists and less kills. But You have only given the enemy team gold 1 time. It is monumentally easier to carry a game where the enemy team has less gold, it's a fact. What does giving the enemy team less gold do? for one, if one or 2 of your team mates are behind in lane, and are safely farming, let's say they're 2-5. Are they more likely to be useful against an enemy team that you've given 1 kill worth of gold to, or 10 kills worth of gold to? Simple answer right? " Make the game easier for your team mates by not helping the enemy get items"

Third thing to think about is bounties. http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Kill#Bounty_values here is a quote from the wiki "Additionally, a champion with many consecutive deaths will award a significantly reduced bounty, eventually reaching a bounty floor of 50 Gold, nearly the gold value of a minion. The bounty will reset to 300 Gold if said champion kills an enemy champion, or resets more gradually with assists or farming (refer to Bounty values Notes below for details)."

everytime you get 2-3 kills and then die, then 2-3 kills then die, your gold is resetting, so you actually give more gold to the enemy team if you're 25-10 when you die, than someone who is 1-10 does.

Well those are my 3 tips to think about, no, they won't magically make you climb, but these helped ME in climbing 5 tiers from silver 5 to gold 5.

Will answer last question first. I solo queued to get my rank every season. Most I ever duo'd was season 3 where I messed around with a friend in maybe 10 games out of the couple hundred I played. First season I played (ranked that is) was season 2 and I got gold within 60 games (or so maybe was a few more). Season 3 I was plat then low diamond season 4 and 5. Highest was this season where I was diamond 2 until I quit for 2 months and decayed to essentially where I am now.

Now, in order to reduce deaths at the lower rank it really isn't easy to know what to say without seeing the game, but I can take a guess on a couple things. Don't put yourself in danger to help your teammates unless you know yourself that you will be 100% safe. Teammates won't play smart enough to realise that you are making a play for them to escape and will likely turn back in and die anyway. Don't try to make every big play either. At the low ranks its much easier to outplay people by simply playing off of their mistakes instead of attempting to force something. 3rd, start buying some vision wards. I notice you don't really buy any but the difference between 0 and ~3 bought a game is rather large. Just knowing where one of their team is when you wouldn't have known before is a huge amount of knowledge and will allow you to make smarter decisions to either get another kill you wouldn't have or save yourself from jumping into a 1v2 that you thought was a 1v1. Outside of these, I would need to see how you path in the jungle and more of what your style is to give any more tips.

10/7 ? that is a lot of deaths. I'm a support main and i don't even die that much. My alistar has played over 67 games (bit low) but my average is 1/3/13. Stop dying a lot or going into unnecessary fights. If someone is dead then there is nothing you can do about. Stop going for kills and go for objectives. Know what fights to take and what not to take.

edit: 46 games not 67 mb.

I am not saying I am the best, as there is a lot to learn. But over the past 5 games where I go 22/10/11, 13/5/14, 28/9/8, and 14/6/8 only to lose is surely doing enough of a job to win a match. All I am saying is that despite my efforts, I just haven't had much of a followup from recent teammates. It is a team game, and it is hard to carry for wins as the margin of wins are within single digit percentages. All I need is people who do their job as it is a collective effort.
