Are you sick of soloQ? Well you're in luck because Insomnia Esports is look to make a second team! This team will participate in LCS formatted minor leagues such as AlphaSheepGaming and will also be looking to enter tournaments for RP prizing (until scumbag RITO disables prizing, we'll see where it goes from there).

We currently have openings for:

Top: For a top laner, we are looking for a flexible top laner that enjoys playing tanks (not always but most of the time) and can have good map pressure with teleport. Also, be prepared to be the next Dyrus, because everyone loves killing top laners.

Jungle: For a jungler, we are looking for someone that can have early pressure, but at the same time not so much early pressure that they fall behind in XP & Gold if the ganks don’t yield a kill

Support: For a support, we want someone with substantial shotcalling and warding who can communicate well with their ADC

If you were wondering about Mid or ADC, both of those roles are taken. I, the one typing this, am your mid laner - Doomfully. The ADC is Insanefully. We will be co-captains of the team, though we do not own the team or the insomnia brand, we just have permission to make a team from the owner, rex0.

No matter which of these roles you want to sign up for, you must be able to cooperate with the team, and must be able and willing to improve and learn from your mistakes. You absolutely must be able to get on frequently, and try your best not to tilt in game!

Here are some requirements to join the team: -16+ years of age -SoloQueue rank of Platinum or higher -Previous Experience on a team(This is NOT required, but it is valuable) -Willing to devote time to improving

If for whatever reason you would like to be a coach/analyst for our team, this is the criteria you must fill:

  • 18 years of age minimum
  • Diamond 3+
  • Previous experience with a team
  • Has knowledge in coaching
  • Is available most of the time
  • Will devote his time to studying upcoming matches
  • Will devote his time to creating team comps and strategies
  • Will devote his time studying the current meta
  • Will study professional games and professional play in general

We are looking for qualified players and coaches who match our criteria and are willing to devote time and energy to help make the team the great. If you make the final cut and are seen to be slacking and/or under-performing you will be benched. If you fail to improve for an extensive amount of time you run the risk of being kicked from the team all together. Previous experience: I've been playing League of Legends since Preseason 1 (for about 6 years) Never played ranked in Season 1 but started in season 2 and hit mid platinum, hit diamond 1 in season 3, 4, and 5, and am currently trying in season 6. I've been a part of many teams over the years but none of them stayed together. One team I was part of for 7 months called Ghost Regiment LoL (became Exertus eSports) was going very strong we were in the ESEA LoL Tournaments when they were still happening, Go4LoLs and another tournament that was happening but I can't remember, we were amatuers but we were one of the better up and coming teams and we consistently played against high-elo teams such as Curse Academy and Team Liquid when they were still up and coming. I've mained all roles since i've played but for the past 3 i've mained support and I believe i'm very skilled at my role. Other information you deem necessary to provide: I am able to stream and have a stream setup if the coach ever needs to spectate to take notes on our games or if mine or the ADC I would be supporting needed to improve we could rewatch from there. I'm very vocal but need some time to learn the players.

UPDATE - Everyone who has applied to join the second insomnia team should know this. We have left insomnia and are now a part of ASG or alphasheepgaming, we will be most likely making a team within their org shortly, so we will still be considering applications. Also, we are most likely accepting demonfear4565 as our top laner.
