Looking for Diamond/Plat players for serious 5v5 team!

Hey guys, my name is CJ and I’m looking to manage and start a very serious ranked 5v5's team. I do have a coach by my side and his IGN is "Spclchar". He has recently coached for a team called "No Salt Gaming" which had a mix of Diamond and Masters players on the roster. With that being said, we are looking preferably for Diamond players, but if your Platinum, feel free try out. Making the team will be determined by tryouts, so there is possibility of you making the team if you do well regardless if you’re in platinum. We require our players to be 18 or above.

The main reason why we are doing this is because we want to give other people a chance of being on a team and enjoying that experience. We want to have a good learning environment, but also a place where we can all still have fun (plus I’ve always wanted to run my own team lol). As of right now, we will sort the team roster after tryouts, rank up in 5v5's, then later get into tournaments and leagues.

I don't want to be rude or anything but isn't Spclchar and C9 Dubs silver with a lot of ranked games played in their current division? This feel like they want to reach Platinum/or Diamond and get carried there because they can't get out of silver..?

I don't know this just feel like a farce to me but whatever maybe I'm just wrong.
