Top 0.5% Dota 2 Support/Offlane; Switching to LOL; LF High Skill Team / Ranked Group

Hey, I've played Dota 2 for about 9 years starting competitively on patch 6.48b. I've semi-recently quit playing because I had no good friends to play with anymore, and now I am making my first actual attempt at climbing the ladder in LOL.
While I have maintained my excellent mechanics and tactical thinking, much of what makes a good MOBA player is his understanding of matchups and decision-making throughout the course of the game. Since much of this differs from Dota 2--minorly in some areas, drastically in others--I've had a harder time than I'd like climbing the ladder as I face new opponents of ever-changing skill. You could say that all I need is to watch high-skill players play, and I do, but a full understanding would be endless hours of watching for all the different varieties of matchups and game-types. With that in mind, I am completely uninterested at such a time-sink at this point in my life.
Under any high-skill players tutelage, with a simple high-skill, indepth description of the game-pace and matchup, I am often able to execute correctly based on nothing more than this explanation. It should be said that I can easily adapt as the game goes on if I have clear goals in place.
If anyone is looking to cultivate some excellent talent, I would be glad for the chance to show off and ruin some nerds' days.
