Gold level Top/Mid Laner lf ranked Team

I'm a gold level solo queue player with limited league of legends competitive experience. I've competed in many other games at high levels such as SC2, CSGO currently and HoN. I'm looking for a team to push into high plat maybe diamond as we improve. I have the mechanics and strategical sense down, my game knoweledge is my weakest point.
