im more interested in the graphic designer position, though. is it a paid gig? what sort of terms and conditions do you guys have laid out, or do you just expect an artist to fall into your lap and work for free?

No we dont expect a artist to do work for free for no reason at all. Depends on why you do it or what you do it for. Also it depends on the quality of your work. Depending on the Quality yes it will be paid. But other than that. We would like to see someone do it sometimes just cause they can for the community their apart of.
