Looking for Not-As-Serious and/or low level players. (Bronzeish)
I recently created a post looking for new or not-as-skilled players to play with, and had a decent response and found a couple of people that were interested. Now I am taking this a step further, I would like to get a small community of people that are interested.
I am willing to put in the work to support a small community of players that are either not as serious about the game or aren't really skilled players that are looking for other people to play with. My goal is to make a non-toxic place for these types of people to come and play, and learn, and improve. I would really prefer adults, but any mature individual with a good attitude is welcome. I also welcome experienced players that are interested in helping others improve.
I have put up a Mumble server, because I truly feel that communication is somewhat important and makes the game significantly more enjoyable. I will put the Mumble information at the bottom of the post.
I am also willing to do anything that it takes to fill the needs of this community. With a decent enough following I would be wiling to host a website if that's what players want, tournaments, or anything. I'm not asking for donations, I'm not asking for help, I just want to have some down to earth people to play with.
Mumble Information:
Server Address: voice.teamicestorm.com
Server Port: Default (64738)
Switched to Curse Voice. Use the link to join the server. https://curse.com/invite/bAFb7Ep9FEasuMco0p0kaw
There is currently no password on the server. If it becomes an issue I will just make it so that only verified users can talk, until then I will leave it how it is.
I chose Mumble because it is free. Teamspeak offers a free license for some organizations but it requires me to jump through hoops and Ventrilo servers aren't free. I was able to put up Mumble on my server for free. I don't like Skype for things like this because you can't just jump in and start talking, you gave to put together a call making it less casual.
If you have any questions or suggestions please let me know I will try to accommodate your request.
Edit: Added Mumble tutorial link.
