Looking to join a semi-professional team/organization as 'marketing' staff
Hi, folks.
I recently got wind of a certain organization that was still being built and wanted to hire staff for their League of Legends division, and I got interested in a position they were offering that had to do with advertising and securing a fanbase+funding for the organization. I talked to one of the owners and it looked nice and we agreed on a week trial, but any efforts I made to contact with him again were fruitless since he decided to ignore me and at some point simply deleted me from his LoL friendlist. I assume he had little to no interest in either that vacant position being filled or in me as an applicant, but either way, that is his problem, not mine. Btw I'm not giving any more details about the organization or the person to avoid him being scorned/bashed or whatever. His organization, his rules. If he handles staff and public relations so poorly, it will presumably backfire at some point in the near future, plus I'm not the kind to badmouth people.
Thing is, I worked hard on learning how these things (funding an eSports organization, securing a fanbase) work and I realized I love this kind of thing. It goes more or less along the lines of the job I would want to have in the Swiss banking system in a few years, and I thought I could use some experience in 'marketing' at a semi-professional level here to have a taste of what this could be like. I love eSports, I normally watch streamers and tournaments (as of lately, mostly League of Legends) and I believe I have the skills needed to help new teams/organizations make themselves marketable. Plus I would hate to see the effort I put in this past week go to waste, which is why I decided to advertise myself on the forum to see if any organization or team would be intersted in contacting me.

- I'm open to trial periods to see if things work out between us (much <3
<3) - I don't expect any kind of immediate reward for my work. However, if I do manage to bring in results, we can always agree on a way to compensate me for my service.
Player elo in the teams that contact me is not the biggest issue here. However, don't expect me to agree immediately to any offer, were there to be any.
