Diamond player, looking for a serious team (more info in thread).
First and foremost, I would like to thank everyone who has taken the time out of their day to read my thread. It really does mean a great deal to me. I'd like to start off by giving you some insight on my back round, both as a person and as a player. To start, gaming is, and has been a very big and important part of my life. I've been gaming competitively (not professionally) since I was 10 years old, so roughly for 14 years. I started off by playing games such as Ultima Online, where my passion for gaming truly developed, I knew at a young age that I would always be gaming, and striving to be the best that I possibly can. However, back then, professional gaming, or competitive gaming wasn't really a thing. Over the years, I bounced around from many games, such as Guild Wars, EQ, EQ2, WoW, CS:Source Aion, Tera, along with some smaller title games. The biggest and most impactful of which were Ultima Online, and World of Warcraft. I spent many years playing World of Warcraft, started from release, all the way to Cataclysm (Firelands patch). I mainly focused in PvP, as that is where my true passion and enjoyment is. I spent countless hours, days, weeks months etc, constantly trying to better myself. I was successful. Many seasons I ranked high, anywhere from low end gladiator ranking, to having the highest title achievable for rated battle grounds (usually 15 vs 15, top 0.5% of teams). My main area of focus was 3v3 and 5v5. When I wasn't playing with my teams, I was usually helping or coaching others.
My main reason for saying all this, is that I want to show you that I am a very dedicated person. I have both the skills and attitude, along with the time and dedication to constantly improve myself, and succeed in a team environment. As a side note, I'm a very friendly, kind hearted person, who is open minded and takes constructive criticism very well.. On to League of Legends!
I started playing League of Legends roughly 6 months after it was launched. Ever since I started playing League, I've been hooked. I love the game, the community, excitement, the rush, the professional play, everything about it. Over the years I've had thoughts of wanting to take my passion for gaming, in this case, League of legends, to the next level. However, I've never actually done a whole lot to see it through. This up coming season, I want that to change. Until now, I've always played league to have fun, while still placing myself at a somewhat respectable level in terms of ranked play. I've been Diamond two seasons in a row, bouncing in between Diamond 5 to Diamond 2. To be completely honest, I never though that joining a team that wanted to strive, work as a strong unit, while taking our passions and skills to the next level, and becoming great friends in the process would happen for me. I've always felt that people wouldn't anyone lower than Diamond 1, at the bare minimum. I decided to take my passion and gear it in a different direction. I started streaming, coaching, playing in other regions, climbing alternate accounts I made to anywhere from plat to diamond, while giving coaching lessons/streaming at the same time. However, it didn't feel quite right. Over the course of the eight or so months that I did that, I began to realize that what I really wanted was a structured team. I started playing more on NA again, and simply have been waiting for the new season to start. In the time being, I've been messing around in pre-season ranked, learning new champs, roles, and just trying to enjoy myself as much as I can before the start of season 5.
