Ok here is the thing i play apc like 
on bot not adc and i really need a supp that adds up to my burst when i engage at lvl 6 for the 1 shot adc or supp if he is squishy, most cases i can do it alone but there are times when i just cant or i cant get good coordination with the supp to either engage or pick

in plat people are not dumb not to know that so they either go for hexdrinker or supps buy hp to survive, overall there are supps who can heal shield and stuff, so if im not fast enough to do combo il need a supp to do a little more dmg and that supp is , sure there are other supps that do dmg like blitz but with sona is easy to poke no skillshots and heals during laning phase.
