Gold 2 ADC looking for coaching

I have a lot of trouble getting kills, and getting far ahead in lane phase. Usually I just go even in lane, maybe get a 10 cs lead, and just farm until I get a few items. I'm not able to really influence the game early because i'm not good at winning all-ins.

People might say it's the supports job to initiate an all-in, but high level ADC could easily play at my ELO and get a few kills in lane very often. I want to improve my game and I feel like it's my weakest point.
