Part-Time Gamers Wanted!

I've been in communities that have done very well. My favorite by far being OGZ (Olympus Gamerz). Unfortunately now what I see happening to these communities that thrived off of the generosity of Riot rewards for tournaments, have lost a lot of their active members. I'm not bad mouthing them, I'm talking about all teh communites that relied on Riot for RP for tournaments. I'm new to Reddit, new to Discord, and new to starting a community. I'm just sick of enjoying one and watching it go, or playing a game meant for multiplayer by myself. My ultimate goal is to have a Discord server where people can come and game in a casual/competitve enviroment, it's their choice what it is to them. Cause honesetly, we're all just Part-Time Gamers. IMO after joining 2 discord servers in the last week after being in TS servers for like a year, I find discord awful for large groups, its fine for very small groups. but im sick of having to scroll up and down for years to try and find out who is online and what room they're in etc. If you're serious about this then pay for a teamspeak server. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way. Likewise i agree that riot pulling rp prizes ruined literally every community i've been a part of.

Yeah theyre relatively cheap when its a small one, but once you bump them up to a lot of capacity or if you try to buy them for more than a month at a time they can get pricey if you're not ready for it.
