Chances are your mechanics are poor, play less mechanical champions and play the macro game better. Recommend playing
Jungle Riven is bad. I kept trying to make it work on one of my smurfs... no go. 47% winrate over 75 games should show you this.
Side Note: Only reason to play Riven jungle is if you have poor mechanics, because you can snowball harder with her in toplane 90% of the time. And if you have poor Riven mechanics, you shouldn't be playing Riven at all.
So for my suggestion -- stop playing riven jungle... keep playing mid akali.
Expand your pool. Akali and Riven are both not excellent champs in the meta right now, so short of superior play at all levels you're just not gonna climb. The best way to climb right now is to find champs that you can consistently play well with (2.5 KDA, 52%+ win rate and there are statistics behind those numbers).
Case in point. Last season I averaged 60% winrate and a 3.2 kda with Kennen. In the offseason some slight changes to his kit (moved damage away from his ult and to his Q and W), and some changes to standard build items (Crystal Scepter, Liandry's, and Abyssal), I now have a 40% winrate and a 1.85 kda. These ever so slight adjustments moved Kennen's power spike to late game and away from 2 item effectiveness he had in Season 6.
This season I started Bronze 2 after placements and made it to Gold 5 in 9 weeks because I switched from playing Pantheon (fell off due to Tank meta), and Kennen (already explained), and traditional stack Nasus. I moved to playing push Nasus, Dr. Mundo, and now Galio.
A really easy, yet strong jungler right now is Amumu. A good Mid laner is Kassadin, and Fizz is always pretty good. I would try and expand play to include some mages too and play them well. With the tank meta/high cc in right now, assassins struggle unless in the right environment. Meanwhile mages well equipped with CC or escapes (lux/ori/lissandra) can provide good consistent damage while staying at distance from the fight.
Understanding lane matchups and picking to meet your team needs is also a good way to improve chances. (IE don't pick an assassin mid/jungle if you have 2 ADC's (quinn top+standard adc), low CC, or there already is an assassin on the team. Don't pick a vulnerable mage into an assassin (xerath/lux into a zed/yasuo). Another huge thing to learn is proper itemization and build paths. So how to build if you get countered/tough lane matchup, how to build if you're behind or getting ganked alot, etc etc.
