Casual pleb looking for easy-going people to play with

As the title says, I guess I'm pretty casual and not considered very good.

I've been playing for a few months now and I feel like I've outgrown the bot games, but every time I try to play normals or ranked, it is either filled with trolls that throw the game or super-try-hards that flip out if I'm not doing so hot.

I know, I know, I should just "mute all", but I want to learn and improve, so I'd rather find knowledgeable people that aren't toxic to play with. My main goals are learning to farm against people better, learning the mid lane matchups, and macro-play. My husband is Gold IV or V and while I know it will take a while to get that good, I'd like to at least be confident enough to queue for ranked with him by the end of the year.
