Recent Plat 5 Looking for Team Experience

Here's another topic cluttering the Team Recruitment area, another would be player hoping to join in on the action. Now, what makes me special? Its not my rank I don't think, although I certainly have worked to persevere through hardship, trolls, and agony to reach it. Not to say I'm without faults- I was DEFINITELY surprised to learn I had earned the free skin for good spotsmanship, given the number of crappy games I've opted to bow out early off rather than continue to frustrate myself with. I've definitely buttheads with idiots and cast the occasional blame card at people. And I've gotten angry. So, I've some rough edges. So what makes me a good choice for a team?

Well. I've no delusions of grandeur....Okaaaay, not true, I've ALOT of delusions xD But I'm willing to admit when something it clearly my fault, I recognize that I'm not a perfect player. I know that that a teams going to screw up. I know yelling at people isn't going to fix them or improve them. And I know that League is a game. It just happens to be more fun when you win! And I know that playing with a team that you don't just type leet and text talk with and instead engage in actual conversation and communication will have a different feel. Knowing that each time you play with these people, whatever you say will leave a lasting impression, and potentially effect the team's performance, can certainly make you more guarded and careful with both your words and your temper. So while I'm sure I'll get mad, at my team, at the enemy team, at myself, I'll know better than to let it last for long. So I think I'll be mature enough to definitely put team camaraderie over individual tantrums and grudges. That's why I think I've a personal highground over other picks.

Additionally, I'm not looking really to score high in terms of team performance necessarily. I mean, sure, getting to Diamond would be great, but I really want is just more experience playing as a team and in communication. To me, being silver, bronze, gold, plat, are just secondary. In fact, starting lower might be better, as it'll give us more room to grow and higher to aim for. I don't want to give the impression that I don't care about succeeding of course, its just a secondary goal to me as opposed to being in a team for the first time.

Now, what can I say about my gaming? Well, firstly, feel free to google FateVoid's statistics if you'd like. While any stats should always be taken with a grain of salt, I'm not going to pretend that winrates, kill-to-death ratios, and feedback isn't relevant to my playstyle. But from there, let me tell you my perception on how I play League. Firstly, I am capable in all roles. I consider myself a jack of trades more than any specific style of play. To me, that's the best way of succeeding. I know some people can play a single role with three champions and skyrocket every game. But I'm a more technical player. To me, its better to fit the team, counter my opponent, or serve a specific role to the best of my ability than play my favorite champion. That said, I do have performance and personal preference leanings. Firstly, I'm not a fan of botlane. This is more of a side effect of solo play I suspect than anything. Bot lane is more stressful, especially in relation to no disappointing your partner. I think my ADC skills are just okay, but my support skill I think is above average. Ironically, I don't much like playing Supports. At least, not in a primary role, anyway. To me its just not the most satisfying.

So generally, I enjoy playing Top, Mid, and Jungle. And I believe my performance is skewed towards doing best in Top Lane, although I haven't REALLY looked at all the data. Just because I enjoy playing Darius and Garen top alot and seem to do well, doesn't mean its my best role for the game. Thankfully, I'll happily play other roles as well. I'm fine being tanky, fighter, mage...The only role I'm probably uncomfortable and slightly bad at I suspect is assassins. To me, being so squishy and NOT having a magic cannon to immediately annihilate my opponent makes me uncomfortable xD AD assassins especially, such as Khazix, Zed, and Master Yi (And of course my free skin is Head Hunter Yi) are very much the opposite of how I like to play. Anyway, if I were to put my 5 Best Champs, by how I feel playing them, it'd probably be Darius, Malzahar, Zac, Veigar, and Sion. But, I do my best to further explore my fairly decent champ pool each and every day.

To summarize, I'm really just looking for a fun team to build some experience with and a get a better feel. If its just a short occasionally grouping fine with me. If it ends up being something we all feel good and ambitious about, even better ^.^ So yeah. Hopefully I interest someone. Schedule? Somewhat sporadic, but generally in the evening works better. Sadly, work comes first. Then Pathfinder. Then League :P
