The first question many of you might ask when reading the title, rightfully, is who is this guy, and why would I want him to coach my team? Well, I've gone by quite a few names during my league career, but seem to have settled on this one for the time being, VS Dreamweaver. I'm a high platinum solo queue player, though my lack of diamond is due to my own lack of mechanical skill and by my finding the strategic side of the game much more interesting than playing it myself. I have played League of Legends since closed beta, and DOTA for years prior to that. Outside of league I've led multiple competitive groups, including some incredibly nerd-like things such as being my debate and academic decathlon captain. For the last two years I've worked as a volunteer mentor for Solo Queue, but now that my focus has shifted unto fives much more strongly I wish to start working more in that direction, and I'm looking for a team that's as dedicated as myself to help start that process.

That brings up the logical second question; what can I bring to your team? Well, in my experience a coach is absolutely essential for a team's success, as they serve as an impartial mediator between the teammates, and have the unique opportunity to observe a teams performance without actually having the emotional attachment that being a participant brings. More than that, though, I bring critical analysis into the mix, in a fashion that is impossible without a coach. For example, if you have a team member that consistently makes a critical mistake or has a critical flaw in their playstyle, it might be difficult to address with a coach-less team, as any attempt to broach the subject might come off as a personal attack. Add a coach into the mix, who's avowed purpose is to stomp out such behavior, and suddenly it's not personal, it's just business, which is preferable for everyone involved to avoid personal conflicts. My style focuses on getting your team to recognize and adapt to your weaknesses, without abandoning your core strengths. I believe it's completely possible to play against the meta, as long as you understand the metagame, and know how your playstyle fits within it. I would mostly watch VOD's of streamed games, and come up with notes for the team after the game, addressing my concerns. Before each game, I would give each of the team members a specific task I want them to work on for that game to address a weakness in their play, as well as one team-wide objective, which can be something as vague as "Dragon control" to as specific as "Make sure you have the jungle vision to support mid-game rotations if you want to support your top/mid laner's split-push". While that might not seem like a lot, if each player does their best to fix one flaw I point out per game, after a hundred games you'll have learned to never make a hundred mistakes, which in my experience easily changes teams from being gold, to being diamond material. I would also listen in on the team's communication and provide insight to where that needs adjustment, as I firmly believe team communication is the most important part of a team's play. It does not matter how much better you are individually than your opponents if they move as one unit, and you play a game of solo queue.

Anyway, I've rambled here long enough. If you want a conversation about what I can do for your team, specifically, feel free to add me in-game with this account after replying here. However, since I do work during the day, I would strongly prefer that if you wish to get in contact with me, you instead add me on Skype, as I have access to that all day. My account name is "Albireodreamweaver". I also would work best with a team in PST, or with an odd practice schedule. While I am available to watch VODs, streamed games, and communicate via text, I'm not able to actually use voice chat until around 7 PST on weekdays. While I don't mind coaching teams during the day if they don't mind the coaching being primarily textual, I know many players would prefer verbal communication.

Thank you for reading, and hopefully I can form a good partnership with one of your teams!

TL;DR: Want to coach a Gold+ ranked team, and can promise I'll do a damn good job. Add me on Skype at Albireodreamweaver to discuss it over with me.
