The ABL Series - Free To Join, With Prizes, Follows LCS Format

Calling all teams (3 spots left) ... The ABL is an amateur League of Legends series. The first season starts on May 2, 2017 and runs until July 25, 2017. Everyone is welcome to join (Bronze, Silver and Gold Ranks), if you wish to register as a team or individual email us at [email protected] (include your Account Name, Position(s) and Rank).

Each team will play a “Best of 3” series once a week (Tuesdays at 8PM EST) against another team for a total of 12 weeks. At the end of the Regular Season, the top 4 teams in each conference will move on to the playoffs and play a “Best of 5” series. Each team has a captain and is responsible for their team’s attendance. If you don’t have the full 5 players at the start of the match, then use a sub or play Howling Abyss (4 on 4 or 3 on 3). If you are the “Home Team” it is your job to host the match and invite the players of the “Away Team” (see Schedule for details).

General Rules The ABL Series will commence on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2017 at 8 PM EST and ends on Tuesday, August 24th, 2017 There will be an Eastern Conference consisting of six (6) teams and a Western Conference consisting of six (6) teams Each team consists of five (5) starters and two (2) sub/fill players Each team will play a “Best of 3” series once a week (Tuesdays at 8PM EST) for a total of 12 weeks Team Captains are responsible for ensuring their team is on time and in attendance If you don’t have the full 5 players at the start of the match, then use a sub or play Howling Abyss (4 on 4 or 3 on 3) The “Home Team” Captain is responsible for hosting the match and inviting the players of the “Away Team” (see Schedule for details) Player trades can be conducted between team captains Player trades must be approved by the ABL officials, by emailing [email protected] If a player’s lack of attendance causes their team to not have a full roster they will be given a warning (one missed game), then a week ban (two missed games), then removed from the ABL (three missed games) Toxic players can be reported to the ABL by emailing [email protected] and they will be dealt with accordingly Players Behave in a respectful manner toward league officials and players and steer clear of any unsportsmanlike conduct Arrive on time and ready for the start of the match Bring any discrepancies in match record to a referee or tournament organizer’s attention immediately Inform us of any discrepancies in the overall match history or rankings as soon as you become aware of it Team Captains Each team must select a single player as team captain. Captains are the point of contact between the team and league officals Communicate with the league officials on behalf of the team Communicate with other teams on behalf of the team Communicate all required information to the entire team Accurately represent the opinions of the team as a whole
