New coach LF 5's team to join, any rank. Let's climb the Season 7 ladder!
Hey, all!
I'm looking to join a team of dedicated 5's players to coach and help improve through the upcoming seasons 7 ranks. I've long been interested in coaching but have never known how to get involved.
Just to provide a little background about myself so teams are not going in blindly, I was in management in the restaurant industry for over 4 years where I learned to help individuals learn new skills and accomplish tasks while working as a team. Although some may think working in fast food is a low end job and anyone can do it, properly managing a team and having all members of that team cooperate to achieve the best results is no small task.
I am also an Eagle Scout. Many of you may not exactly know what this means. This is a rank in Boy Scouts (Yes, I know, "who even does that anymore? Isn't that for old dudes?") Well, I did it and I learned a lot from it. I learned many different skills such as rifle shooting, outdoor survival, and how to weave a basket (funny), but I also learned valuable lessons in person finance, business, leadership, and communication. In order to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout, I organized a service project and led a team of ~20-25 volunteers. I organized the project, gathered supplies, and led the team to complete the task. In doing so, I continued to learn more about the importance of leadership and communication in accomplishing common goals.
I want to take these skill I heave learned and apply them to what I am most passionate about, people's success and League of Legends.
I have a decent amount of game knowledge. I am by no means a professional analyst or coach, but I do hope to be there one day and I will continue to learn.
