Experienced coach LF high diamond, mast, chall team

Hello,

I am a mid-twenties coach for LoL. My coaching style emphasizes the development of a team's culture, communication, and trust.

Warning: I am not an analyst. I study the game but by no means will ever market myself as an "expert" of the game.

My strength as a coach comes from what I have studied from other sports or learned through personal experience. I have followed professional sports for my entire life. I have always been a student of those who hold leadership positions. Either listening to interviews, watching documentaries, or reading books. I have the knowledge of what works and doesn't.

Again, I will not proclaim myself to be an expert on coaching but from my research and personal experience as a leader, I find there are a few commonalities between successful teams. We will emphasize and embraces those commonalities.

If you want to know what my practices consist of I can't really tell you. The first day of practice will be much different then the 2nd week of practice. I always am making adjustments to fit the needs of the players. However, every practice will include a 10 minute CSing session to start. I will also be meeting with each player for one on ones ever two weeks or so. This becomes less frequent over time. Me getting to know players helps me with analogies or other ways I want to convey my opinion. Also, sometimes people prefer to talk outside of the group. This will allow those do so.

I spent the last year coaching a University D1 team. The school has decided to not invest in any eSports programs which means I can't get a job with them. What was once a team of Plats and Golds is now Diamond (w/ 1 Plat 1) competing in collegiate tournaments. We are currently in the Semi Finals for EGF Rivalry and are 4-1 in pre-season ULoL.
