[Gods Can Bleed] *High Gold to Plat Ranked 5s Team* Looking for Mid and Support!

[Intro]

Hey there, this is Sol Taeyang of GCB. Technically you could say I am a coach for Team GCB and that I help them with team coordination, but this is just my smurf so don't be alarmed by this account being unranked :P. Though, let's get to the good stuff... Just recently GCB sought out to improve their team and have been having issues with team players being non-responsive and not showing up to practice. A team decision was made and overall the mid laner and support player were removed from the team.

Our team schedule is flexible and can work around you and your schedule if you so choose to apply to our team. Though, currently we play around noon-ish EST on the weekends. [Note] We do also play in tournaments as a team and attempt to win RP.

Currently the team consists of 3 players who are on the main roster:

We are looking for a Mid and Support player AS WELL AS flexible substitute players who won't necessarily be on the main roster, but can also help us play in our practice times. Later on we would like to implement a sister team for us to scrim against in which case the sub players will MOST LIKELY be on the main roster, though this will be at a later date.

Previously, Team GCB has been showing improvement, though due to non-responsive players we were forced to remove a couple players from the main roster off the team. Thus, this thread was created to help search for new players interested in trying out for a SERIOUS Ranked 5s team. By SERIOUS, I mean that this team has set practice times and focuses on many objectives that lead to gameplay improvement.

[What the Team Wants]

The team is looking for players interested in helping us improve our gameplay as well as yours in hopes of climbing in SoloQ rank and in Ranked 5s rank. Every player on this team has played for several years and has plenty of gameplay experience. Whether you are in the same boat as us or are still relatively new to the game and just have immense skill; we welcome all who are wanting to TRYOUT for the team. This means that you aren't guaranteed to be on the team just by signing up. We will be hosting a tryout period for us to play games with you in which we judge your gameplay and personality as a player. In just a moment I will discuss what kind of support and mid laner we are looking for and how you can tell if that is you OR can be you. We aren't trying to change your gameplay, we would like to help you improve your gameplay as you can also help us improve ours. So, overall, play as you'd like, but make it work with the team and we can profit together :). I can't say this team is LCS worthy, nor Challenger worthy yet, but we are working towards that goal eventually ;).

[How to Apply]

Understand that we are hosting a TRYOUT period if you didn't read the previous info and that we would like you to show up to at least one of them. This will allow us to judge your gameplay and your personality towards others and the game overall. We don't appreciate negativity ;).

Later today we will be hosting tryouts for the majority of the night [6:30 PM EST - Roughly 12:00 AM EST]. I will post more tryout times available later on in this section. This team has gone through a few roster changes, and the main problem was the jungler, though right now it is the mid-laner. We want to have a relatively good synergy between our jungler and our mid-laner. By synergy I mean that when the jungler attempts to do something, you back him up of your own accord. We encourage our jungler, Adolf Quitler, to frequently talk to our mid-laner, though in the event that he can't call something out in the heat of the moment we need YOU to be aware. We had a more supportive mid previously, which isn't a bad thing at all. I'm not trying to say we don't want a supportive mid-laner, though I believe the team would benefit more with a CARRY mid-laner. That's right, we're looking for our own Bjergson. We won't center the team around only you because GCB Alex, our ADC, is also a big part of the team and is one of our carries, though we would prefer a non-supportive mid-laner so that all of the burden of carrying isn't just on Alex. That isn't to say you won't make the team if you're supportive, I'm just notifying you of what I believe the team would benefit from the most. Beyond that, the ideal mid-laner we are looking for is one who is aggressive, but can also play passive if set behind. We would like a semi-roaming mid-laner who doesn't autolock Katarina and LeBlanc and instead of farming just continuously roams for kills and crosses their fingers in hopes that they do well. Not at all. This is a team oriented game, and we're looking for a team player. That scenario I talked about just a moment ago is more of a SoloQ oriented gameplay, and not necessarily a high-elo one at that.

Overall, we would like our ideal mid-laner to be able to adapt to situations, have good synergy with our jungler, semi-roam [like a second jungler in theory], and be an aggressive player who can also play passive if needed. If this isn't you, that doesn't mean you won't make the team if you apply. This is just the team's preference on what they would like in their new mid-laner.

[GCB Support]

Support is a role that the team, primarily our ADC, have a rough time adapting to right away. And the reason why I say that is that our previous supports either had connection issues or were a bit late in their own reaction times when we need them. Not to say our previous supports were bad players, they worked well, just they had a few errors in gameplay or just didn't show up to practice when asked to, though everyone has errors in their gameplay; we aren't all Faker. What exactly are we looking for in our support? Let's start with our ADC. Alex is someone I've known for years and have played with a lot. I've noticed from his playstyle that it isn't exactly normal. What do I mean? Well.. it's hard to adapt to him in lane. On my main account I play with a friend of mine who mains ADC. I've played with him so much that our synergy is insane. We don't even have to talk to eachother to play and know exactly what we're both thinking, it's kind of weird. In this sense, I can adapt to ADCs and try to play how they would like to play. I have supported Alex for fun in our normal games with friends, though I can't say that I'm the perfect match for him. He's not that hard to play with, just adapting to how he wants to play is the difficult part. If you play with us in tryouts, you'll see what I mean. It's not unbearable to the point of that he's bad and can't play ADC properly, not at all. He's a good player, he just has a unique playstyle that is semi-aggro but also semi-passive. And when I say this you might think, "that's every ADC", yes, but no. It can be hard to tell when Alex wants to swap playstyles. In my words, he's bi-polar in gameplay. It isn't impossible to play with him though, it just takes a little practice and more than just 3 or 4 games. And once you nail that synergy it is insane.

In short, we are looking for an adaptive support player who can peel, engage, and keep map control with the rest of the team when needed. We won't be making you ward by yourself or be the only one to ward. The whole team will ward or else I'll kill them. The team would like a support who has a strong lane presence as well as someone who is able to help the team in team fights and knows when to peel and when to engage. If this isn't you, that doesn't mean you won't make the team fi you apply. This is just the team's preference on what they would like in their new support.
