True Minded Gaming League

Hello everyone, I am the Team Captain of TMG Rush and we are looking for an adc, mid, and support to finish our roster off. This is an ambitious team that plays most days of the week, and we play in an amateur series. Information on the series that we play in can be found in the link above.

If you are interested in trying out for any of these positions, please fill out the application below. I will contact you if interested and I will not be accepting any friend requests because we want those who read the post and fill out the application.

Tryouts will be held throughout the week.

Must have Discord and Be able to Make prctices at 8PM EST - 11PM EST 5 out of 7 days a week.

What is your biggest strength: My attitude and ability to adapt.
What is your biggest weakness: Not a lot of team experience.
Do you have much previous 5's experience: I've played with a few teams over the years in tournaments, but not a lot.
Are you comfortable shot calling: Yes
Do you have a working mic: Yes (webcam mic until I get a new headset) note: it doesn't have feedback with discord
Timezone: PST
Availability: I'm busy thursday until roughly 1-2pm, other than that basically anytime.
Tell me a bit about yourself: I've played league since pre s1, been on a few teams but not for an extended period of time, always been interested in competitive play with a full group but I'm still looking for that group.
Why are you interested in joining this team: I've been playing a lot on smurfs this season, looking for a team to join on my main and start playing on my main competitively again.
What sets you apart from other applicants: My attitude, free time, ability to learn from mistakes and I'm very open to advice on how to get better.

Working on GP and Viktor Rank:P5 just got demoted from plat 4 literally an hour ago, Peaked at P2 last year preseason How would you rate your attitude 1-10: 8 How would you rate your game knowledge 1-10: 8 How would you rate your mechanics 1-10: 9 What is your biggest strength: Laning, snowballing leads What is your biggest weakness: Can sometimes tunnel vision and get ganked but i think it will help to be able to talk to people about the junglers positioning Do you have much previous 5's experience: dynamic queues but nothing serious Are you comfortable shot calling: Mid/Late game yes Do you have a working mic: Yes Timezone: EST Availability: Mon-Fri 11am-whenever weekends whenever schedule could change somewhat due to graduation and job but will be available almost every night after 6pm Tell me a bit about yourself: Have been playing league since preseason S4, switching from ADC to mid due to carry potential and just like the lane overall better Why are you interested in joining this team: Want to become a better player overall, get team experience, climb solo queue and team ladder with teamates and hopefully make something out of this game What sets you apart from other applicants: I learn super fast and can become an incredible player if given better macro/micro knowledge

About a 6.5-8. Other than that, my general attitude is about a 9. I'm really friendly but a bit reserved because of depression. IGN: Skrubbalift Age: 20 Role: ADC Champion pool: Everything but Vayne (I can play her, but I think she's kinda bad right now IMO i just don't like taking it in the rear in laning phase) My favorites are Lucian, Ashe, Sivir, Kalista, Corki and most of all Ezreal. MF is a good time too but she doesn't have a purpose other than smashing lane and teamfight ultimates. Rank: Plat 4 currently How would you rate your attitude 1-10: 10 I like playing the game and I play to win, but I understand it's for FUN. I try to improve myself whenever I can and I've played on teams where I've been the strongest player and on teams where i've been the weakest player so I know how to perform in both situations. How would you rate your game knowledge 1-10: 8? I've only played since s4 so i don't think I have perfect knowledge of all champion cds and stuff How would you rate your mechanics 1-10: 8 also most likely. I can CS very well as it's always something I've focused on, but I know I lack when it comes to certain things such as flashing perfectly or cpt jack qss. I'm working on my play all around though. I can hit skills consistently because I put in about 400 ezreal games on a different account last season. What is your biggest strength: My laning and teamfight presence. I can lane without falling behind enemy ADs unless the matchup is super bad (vayne into cait janna for instance) consistently, and as long as i don't get 5 manned I'll usually come out with a cs lead. I know how to trade and I know how to position in fights. What is your biggest weakness: I play too aggressively at times in solo queue. I tend to keep this on a leash in team environments, but if their team were to have triple globals, sometimes I still fight bottom lane trying to edge out an advantage and get punished for it. Given good communication with a support this is controllable though. Do you have much previous 5's experience: Yes, I've played in many 5's previously. At times i've had to shotcall players that weren't as skilled as me (which is quite hard from ADC), and I've also been the least skilled player on a team of d2-d1's before (my support would just roam on repeat while i played ezreal and we would win more often than not). I'm comfortable playing whatever the team needs to thrive, I'm not a player that thinks they HAVE to be the carry, and I'm used to going without peel. Are you comfortable shot calling: I am. Solo shotcalling is very hard in the lane phase as an AD carry simply because i can't really look top or mid every second besides on the mini, but I have no problem communicating and contributing to objectives if required. Do you have a working mic: Yup. Timezone: Central Availability: Anytime Tell me a bit about yourself: I'm a competitive person making a transition in their life. I've just moved recently and i've got a lot of free time currently. I like to kid around and have fun. Why are you interested in joining this team: I met your support in solo queue and we smashed lane phase. They told me they were practicing braum for a ranked team and I jokingly said i should be on it, and they linked me this. I love playing in team environments, I feel like that's where ADC thrives. What sets you apart from other applicants: I wanna win. Sure the game is about fun, but I want to win. Plain and simple. I'll play anything that helps me win, do any strat that helps me win, and I'm always the person who looks at myself and my own mistakes first when something prevents me from winning.
