We are a duo queue that play a lot of League of Legends on our off time, but are also an indie band and have another life outside of league, but that doesn't disqualify us from taking time on the Rift serious. We do.

We are recruiting for Team Aporia, as we've chosen to work to represent an esports organization, Aporia eSports, which has other teams that compete in tournaments, see their official website aporiagg.com . The CEO made DrXZander the captain of the League of Legends team, which isn't fully formed yet. Each team applicant is required to make a Twitter @Aporia_(NAME) for example @Aporia_Stymp is our friend Stymplinator. We also encourage you to add aporiaesports on Skype and meet the CEO. We are recruiting because we would like to start streaming regularly on twitch - (https://www.twitch.tv/aporia_lol) and we will share our music for some of the streams as well. Currently Zander and I are meeting regularly in person so no team speak is needed, we communicate out loud and assign pings and use the mini-map. We have used teamspeak, skype, etc, in the past and would love to use teamspeak, discord i.e. voice chat when we have a full team. The season is about to reset and anything is possible with the right team plays.

We are faced with not only scheduling conflicts with prospective players, and some we consider members of Team Aporia, but also extreme toxicity from players that are random fills in queue whom do not understand basic mechanics like proper farming, harass, engage/disengage, smart roaming/warding, and proper rune pages completed for the role they are playing and the champion they are playing. Everyone knows the community can be toxic, and we are trying to find people to counter that.

We are looking for players that have mastery five champions for at least two types of lane/positions for example top and jungle, or mid and support. For example, I typically go mid or support, and Zander will often go bot adc or support. Zander has six rune pages, and I have three rune pages, all equipped with tier three runes. We typically fill in norms just to keep practicing and getting better.

We would like to put a solid team together to represent Aporia, but the first step is finding enough people who play the game well and are not toxic / do not get "tilted" easily.

Ideally, you are a player in the LA area and would be open to LAN parties. We would like to establish advanced strategies and develop good synergy.

I recommend getting out of bronze 5 first. Not to be rude, but it does say something about your skill as a player, and in this game, skill gives you credibility.

We were both just in Bronze IV and trying to climb out, but some bad games for example we literally get people that afk or d/c and reconnect, or rage. Not every game we get good random players. Some people feed intentionally. Call it bad luck, call it whatever you want. Queue up with DrXZander and I and you can determine for yourself if you want to be a part of the team. We play around the best players. When we play norms we are usually 3 for 3, but when we rank we don't always get players that know how to team. We all know the solo type that think they can 1v4. I know LoL has gotten better at dealing with trolls and rage / afkers but the problem still exists.

We play regularly with Gold players, Stymplinator and Twohandss, for example. Stymplinator is busy with school and family, and Twohandss manages a restaurant, so until their schedule is more open we need more players. We need people that can play at least fairly regularly, at least a few times a week. In one sitting today we were demoted all the way to Bronze V, I had an afk ADC because after getting first blood, she accused our support of taking her farm, even though DrXZander set up first blood for him/her as an Ashe. She went top and intentionally fed after that and got everyone tilted by her crap attitude. We got back into a series but then got hit with another rage player.

We are also an indie DIY band (running/maintaining our own websites www.bandfamous.com and www.phonixintl.com - and it's not wordpress, but we hard code everything ourselves - as well as developing and maintaining both of our native apps "the band famous" for iphone/ipad/ipod touch and android devices, and are working on our 2nd album, more music videos, and eventually shows and touring when we release our 2nd album). We want to get out of bronze, most definitely. An ADC that we had great fun with literally burned his flash at the start of the game (ranked) before camps even spawned. After I tried suggesting they build a third rune page (the one they are running for adc is only physical damage and attack speed, and running teleport and flash instead of heal and flash - so no armor, no heal, and he's Silver V) he has since deleted me as a friend for trying to get him to conform.

Yet a pattern we've noticed is every time we play with him he goes ham and dies nearly every time he gets a kill.

So yes, we would be interested in gaming with you, as long as you are friendly and a team player.
