[NA] Tournament Needs more players! Peak Gaming Solo Draft League

Hi, this is Guster Posey from Peak Gaming (peakgaming.ts.nfoservers.com) and we are hosting a Tournament where people were drafted based on their solo queue ranking into teams, and they will play Round Robin group stage with 1 B03 per week, and playoffs to follow the round robin.

We’re making this thread because some spots on teams have opened up due to people being unresponsive, deciding to not continue participating, or whatever else people do. We have spots open in all ELOs, and we can always add more teams if a lot of people sign up. Due to player turnout, we have had to combine some of the tiers, Bronze/Silver will be playing together as well as Platinum and Diamond.

Play will begin this Weekend, and will continue throughout the month of September and most likely October.

We are Peak Gaming, a new up and coming community dedicated to allow players to reach their own heights. We recently got our TeamSpeak server up and running (peakgaming.ts.nfoservers.com) and to celebrate we will be hosting a league style tournament. Now before you start thinking "Oh, now I have to go find 4 other people and start practicing with them just to get our butts kicked by a team who has been together for months," this tournament is different. This tournament will be separated by Solo Queue Tier, and you can sign up as a single player and be placed into a draft pool and be drafted into a team, or you can sign up as a Team Captain and be the one doing the drafting. Some of you may remember this format from the ill-fated Terracotta League in the later half of 2014, and you would be right, as we are adopting parts of their structure, but using our dedicated staff to support it.

If you’re worried about having to commit to a certain day or time every week to play, fear not! In this League you and your team play when you and your opponents are both available to play in the 1 week timeframe.

The Draft System is separated by Solo Queue Tiers, Bronze/Silver/Gold/Platinum/Diamond+ and within each tier, the players are assigned certain point values based on their division within the tier. The Season itself will play out as a Round Robin Best of 3 Group Stage with single elimination best of 3 playoffs happening after the group stages are done.
