Hi im completely new to all this.... help :)

Hey guys/gals

Ive always gamed on WoW and Xbox but I'm new to this, don't know where I should be posting this so feel free to move it if ive posted it completely wrong.

I'm looking for someone or a group of people who are in a similar boat, I'm fine with the PvP I usually use Twitch now but I don't understand the whole jungle side of things and I have no idea when its time to go smash the dragon :/ itd be ideal to find a group/clan that helps out noobs like myself :p I am 30 yrs old and have a job sso not looking for anything full on, but I can hold my own and am getting better and better.

You could learn a lot from watching Nightblue3's Twitch stream (twitch.tv not Twitch ). He specifically teaches jungling and is a top elo player.

There are lots of youtube videos and guides as well. Not every jungler starts at the same camp and takes the same path, and invading or being invaded (going into enemy jungle at level 1) changes it too. Not all champions are fit to jungle either (most aren't the best at it).

Basically just do a little bit of research and you can learn a whole lot in a very short amount of time without even playing.

As far as giving tips or coaching myself, I'm not a jungler, sorry. The guides, videos, and streamers will help you far more than I can.

Welcome to League!!! ^_^ We're glad to have you!

I don't know if I would worry too much about joining an official team for awhile. Make some new friends and play normal games with them. When you max out at level 30 you can look for official teams, or even just make one of your own with some of your new friends?

As far as in game stuff goes, I'm still pretty terri-bad myself, but I've made some great friends here who are (a lot) better than me, and help out with pings and such to focus on objectives. Often a good time to work on dragon/towers/baron is when you manage to kill one or more opposing players that give your team difficulty, like their mid or adc or whoever is carrying their team.

Don't forget to check out ARAMs, Dominion, and Twisted Treeline. They aren't as popular as "normals" on the rift, but they're a lot of fun and offer a change from the monotony. ARAMs are a FANTASTIC way to learn new champions if you don't want to just do bot matches.

I really hope you enjoy your time here! It's a lot of fun!!! As with any online interaction, just ignore the trolls and keep at it! Everything else will fall into place as you become more familiar with the game! ^_^

There are LOTS of wonderful people in our community! ^_^ Starting a post on the forums was a great way to strike up some conversations and meet people!

Not sure if you've already done this, but try just reading and replying to other posts? You'll learn quite a lot about the game, what's going on with it, tips, and meet new people. I really hope you have fun here! it's a phenomenal game!
