I just hit level 30 not long ago and I really like support but I'm not very good at it xD

ok i can help with it i used to main support and im a level 7 bard support player so i know a thing or two about bot lane.

I spent the back half of S6 training to climb in S7. Here's what I've found works pretty well.

Get a core 3 champs. For example, I use Zilean, Shen, and Nunu. That gives me enough tank/mage options, and a similar playstyle. In Normals, I'll play whatever. In ranked, it's those 3.
I find support covers a lot of things in the game in the fly. E.g. When no one on your team tanks a tank, you need to be ready to pick one. When no one buys blue wards, you need to harass people into getting them.
Straight utility is bad, straight AP is worse. I've found a lot more success when I build SS, boots, then AP.
Roam. The mark of the carry champs is that they need to spread around the snowball. It's not good enough to win just your lane. The minute my enemies back, I pop over to mid. If I can help them get a kill, great. The main point is to put some fear into the enemy mid-laner.
Don't stop reading guides, or checking Champion.gg. It's not the be-all-end-all, but you want to stay up on the latest trends, esp. after new items are released. As an example, I use to max Zilean's Q first constantly. Then I found out the highest win rates maxed his E first. It made a huge difference.
Play ranked like black jack. If you win, keep going. After the first loss, play normals.
