Getting carried to a tier for the sole purpose of receiving a silly banner as end of season rewards is what I see here. Your S3 atm, you are close enough to gold 5 and should carry yourself.
Had this been start of season and you wanted help getting to G4 I would understand because you would have time to either climb more or fall back but motivation here is clearly a banner, not improving yourself.
