OUR SCHEDULE

Our current schedule is every Sunday starting at

  • 1700 PST - 2000 PST for Competitive. (Members must attend our Mixed ELO meet to join our Competitive meet)

WHO WE ARE

PNG is a small group of players looking to recruit new members. We consider ourselves a Team Building community, where we have a disciplined environment for practice and competitive play, while also maintaining a fun atmosphere to game in. We enjoy building teams from the ground up, rather than purchasing or sponsoring pre-made teams.

Because we've decided to keep our membership lean, we don't currently offer a large player environment, team sponsorships, or large scale tournaments. However, because we're more focused on team building, we find this to be ideal for our current goals.

Players looking to join our ranks as an official team member will be required to complete testing in order to prove that they can be a valuable addition to our organization. We do an interview, test matches, and require players to attend multiple practices before they can officially join our teams. If you've ever desired to be a part of an organized team or have been on teams that can't seem to stay together - you'll be interested in joining us.

We have multiple mixed ELO teams as well as 1 competitive team that play regularly. Notably, our mixed ELO teams are considered a training ground for our members and whether you're Diamond or Bronze - players are required to hold membership in a mixed ELO team to be able to play on our competitive teams.

If attending during our current schedule will be difficult to manage weekly, anyone is welcome to join our group as a casual member. Casuals aren't placed on a team and thus have no obligations to show up at our meetings. However if they do attend, they are still required to follow our communities rules. During practices, we will organize a casuals team based on player availability, which will mostly include other casuals.

I can't stress enough that we value quality of the individual over skill level, as skill can be learned much easier if the environment is right. While getting agitated at the enemy or even your teammates is understandable, raging out is not. If you tend to get angered easily and then disrespect the enemy and your teammates, this is not the community for you. We'd much rather you find a community that suits the mindset of solo que mentality then to come here and disrespect players who are here to progress as teammates and enjoy the game. We do our best to create an environment where comradery is important and teams can strive for the overall improvement of each player involved while having fun, so keep an open mind and you'll be welcome in our group.

Each team may have an additional set of practice days that are agreed upon by all members of that specific team. Further, players can also request in advance a call out for a meet time if needed. We understand that other obligations may come up from time to time - but we also want members to understand that if you can't attend most practice days - you won't be contributing enough to be on a team.

While our primary focus is on Summoner's Rift play, we also include Howling Abyss matches to keep the teams sharp and ready for play on any map.

Hey guys, I'm a former member of PNG. I can say with 100% certainty that if your a lower elo player you will improve. If Strider and fellow leaders in the organization are serious about getting back to the basics, and truly improving the community then this is a great opportunity for everyone.

Reality is you will need to test drive this community for yourself. At one point I loved PNG, and felt this was a great community. Not only did I subscribe monthly to the community but I seriously considered investing more money towards it.

I know for a fact, this use to be a community that fostered improvement, and cared about its members. I, along with many other, believed in the purpose behind the structure. This community is ran similar to a military and at its core is a solid foundation. Where I believe this can be dangerous ( and is a reason I left) is because this can be abused, and has been abused. There is a promotion system, however, its not a solid one. Strider has demonstrated that hes not interested in promoting quality leaders, but more so promoting people who will "Shine the Shrine".

Overall, I think if the PNG community is serious about improving, then they should remove the members they currently have (Mainly because most of them have been involved in toxic situations) and start new with this posting and the future members who apply.

I know Strider can be a good leader because he has been. He was worth investing in, and standing behind. I don't believe this is the case now, but again, please test drive this community for yourself and make your own conclusions.

I wish the readers, and PNG all the best, and Cheers to improving the LoL community!

Hey WhereDaFksMyPeel i appreciate the feedback and input. First and foremost our group is completely dedicated to camaraderie and having fun everything else comes second. Our community isn't as stringent as I suppose that it seems to you. We have a call out system in place that allows players to call out whenever they feel they need to and a sub replaces them for the day. As far as having a shot caller/team lead it works very well by allowing more organized plays throughout the game as well as synergy. We don't tolerate raging or toxicity what-so-ever and those that do so are warned or removed. By having our shot calling system is in place most of the lower ELO players actually vastly improve over the course of time, myself being one of them. If you're interested in learning more about our community feel free to message me or our TS3 server info is above.
