LF Ranked Team Manager

Are you a League of Legends player or even just a watcher of League who really wants to be involved but doesn't enjoy climbing themselves? Are you new to managing but need a way to get your foot in the door? Or maybe you just genuinely like to see and help others do well! Well if you answer any or all of those as yes, then I encourage you to continue reading and heavily encourage you to apply for the manager position of the ranked team I will be creating!

A quick background on me for all you curious ones; I've been playing since Season 3, peaked at Plat 3 in Season 5, took a minor break in Season 6 and got Gold IV, just started my climb this season (8-2 in placements); placed Gold V. I love League but I am a University student so at times, like anyone, I will require a substitute for a night but of course these things will be made aware in advance.

So a quick blurb about the team vision; I plan on starting the team at Gold-Plat. This is because I got placed Gold and obviously can't expect people to believe me when I say I can still get back to my Plat level after more practice. But over time, as part of your job as manager and mine as team captain, we will be required at times to replace players who are failing to show either A) willingness to improve with the team, and/or B) an inability to improve over an extended period of time (I say extended here because a few games/days does not reflect on improvement. Everyone experiences tilt at times).

Then what is the role of manager entail? Well to begin you will be assisting me in the process of A) filling out our staff positions. This of course will only require a coach to begin with but after the team is selected, we will follow a screening process for an analyst and B) assist me and the coach in finding players for the team. As manager you are expected to keep players in check and determine the personality of the players as being suitable or not, it is the coaches job to judge performance and I want to make that extremely clear. Following the team selection your job will slow down as your job moves to simply working with me and the coach to keep players in check. You will ensure the schedule is followed, find subs when we need them and arrange tournaments/scrims for us later down the road. None of this is solely your duty but it is simply a position to assist me in maintaining the team. It will be difficult for me to do all of this while also focusing on my studies and being a player on the team. Also as a final note, I like to think of a manager as the mother figure; you should be willing to be there for the players but you can be that power of authority when necessary. You're a neutral figure that players should feel comfortable telling their personal issues as to why they can't attend practice etc.
