Looking for 4 players to fill out a competitive 5's team! (to be takin seriously, not just for funzies) * /r/leagueoflegends

(sorry guys, NA region only) As the title says, i'm looking for 4 reliable players to fill out the ranks on a 5's team that I'd like to take very seriously and see where it goes. My current rank is gold 5, so I'd need players that are also of the gold variety to join up with me so we'd all be learning from the same page and on.

Roles Needed: Top support mid jungle. Marksman is up in the air.

Below you'll read the primary rules for the team and what I expect from the people who wish to try and be a part of it: No one complains or argues or calls others out on mistakes or bad calls during the match This is a huge problem for teams getting off the ground, and something that most competitive teams up in the LCS have had to learn to get past. It's something that the environment that we've all been brought up in here in league has embedded deep within us! The need to yell at others for their mistakes instead of looking at our own, to care more about how they stopped us from carrying as opposed to how we could have refined our own play to carry harder.

Attitude is something we all need to learn to control when moving towards the goal of a true 5's team, and it's not an easy thing to do. There may be some bickering here and there as we all work towards it, but that's part of building a team! So I ask that anyone interested keep all this in mind and prepare themselves for what I'd like to call a "building phase", where things will start as they always would (rough), and then in time grow into something we can all feel proud of. We will all use the same voice chat. I have a few team speak servers at my disposal and a raidcall, so if anyone can't use one or the other we'll have a backup, but one of them at least will be a must.

People need to show up on time. I can't stress how important it is that no one feels like their efforts are being marginalized by their fellow team mates. Shit happens, and sometimes someone can't show up. This can't be avoided 100% of the time. But being late often, or making excuses often, is unacceptable. It makes everyone else not wanna show up as a result. It makes them feel like they're wasting their time. So we have to dedicate to a set practice schedule, and try our absolute hardest to stick to it. Remember, this team is only for the truly dedicated. Those that REALLY have the drive and motivation to try and better themselves at league. The players that really wanna work hard improving as individuals and a team, and enter into tourneys and stuff, and maybe some day even be in the challenger series!! :>

Have a good attitude As I said before, we all have bad days in league. We all know that pain of team mates screwing us over and hating the time we lost in the process. However, it's VITAL to our growth as players that we never let that stop us from learning and pushing as hard as possible in solo q, just as we will in the 5's q. We need to learn from our games, take every and anything we can away from them, study replays of them, and never give up on them! and no not just a few of us can, all 5 of us will have to!! Those are some of the rules we'll all have to follow to achieve the goal of being a well oiled machine of a team, that can truly go places. Something we can all feel proud of being a part of. They won't be easy to get used to. and on some days we're probably all going to hate each other, while on others we'll love each other. But that's just how team building goes. :>

So if anyone's still interested in something serious after reading all this, or has any questions about how it'll work or anything I wrote on here, hit me up on here or at Zspi on LoL, [email protected], or ziralspiral on steam and I'll get back to you as soon as possible!! I look forward to hearing from you!

I'm a plat top main, however reading through the post, some things caught my attention. The title states that it is a competitive 5 v 5 team you're looking to put together, but you say another thing by putting in "No one complains or argues or calls others out on mistakes or bad calls during the match" contradict one another. I feel if a team were to get any better, I believe the fastest way would be through criticism. If one person believes that another person made a questionable play, I feel that it's the obvious thing to do to point out their mistake to fix it, ASAP. Now, there are some mistakes that can only be fixed over time like mechanics, but something like diving into a team by yourself should be corrected on the spot then and there if you want any hope of improving.

Secondly "The need to yell at others for their mistakes instead of looking at our own, to care more about how they stopped us from carrying as opposed to how we could have refined our own play to carry harder.", makes it sound like you're just looking for someone to carry a team instead of developing together and coming up with new strategies and working up as a group together. The yelling, I completely agree. Yelling should never even take place, however, like I stated before, the need to tell others of their mistake should be taken as a constructive criticism and should not be taken as an insult either way. If someone is taking that as an insult, they should not even be on a "competitive" team.

If you are still interested in me, I wouldn't mind playing a few games to see how my chemistry is with the other players.

IGN: Tulips Main Role: Top summoner 12 ELO: NA: Plat 4 currently, peaked at Plat 1 but stopped playing due to massive disconnects and drop hacks back in march, decayed down to Plat 5 with TERRIBLE mmr (Win 12, lose 28) & climbed back up to plat 4 and gave up. KR: was Plat 2 (Can't play anymore because I'm in NYC now) Favorite champs : Yasuo Jayce Rumble Maokai Gnar (In top lane) Secondary role : Jungle (Used to main jungle but switched over to top due to jungle changes & still not used to it) Additional notes: I have played on other 5 v 5 teams & participated in many 5 v 5 riot sponsored tournaments in LoL communities. I feel comfortable being a secondary shotcaller, but not the primary as how I lose track of things when I play top and need to concentrate on cs'ing and laning in general.
