Thorblade1 - Summoner Stats - League of Legends

I want to main mid lane and would like correct guidance on becoming a better mid laner that can play competitively. I know that my rank is not that great but am committed to becoming better and obtaining new skills and knowledge on the rift. I am flexible with time and will look forward to working with you.

So I'm going to assume you are planning on maining Vlad and Fizz:

Take a lot of time to get the 100-0 combo on vlad down. You need this on muscle memory. Third Q + E + W + R + Protobelt. It is tricky to pull off consistently but it is the best way to snowball unexpectedly.

Why are you taking TP on Fizz against Katarina? You want to snowball that lane. Get ahead of her and ruin her every time she steps up to farm or jumps to a dagger. If you were at risk of eating a lot of poke TP could be good to get you out of laning phase, but generally take ignite. On the subject of summoner spells, start with ignite/exhaust on vlad. You are running unsealed spellbook, so you can go for an early cheese with ignite, if you don't find a good chance it's nbd; just swap to TP and go back to lane.

Your CS per minute is very poor. Going for kills all the time is a very feast or famine way of playing the game. Try getting yourself consistently to at least 65 cs at 10 minutes. It's still not a lot, but it will give you a lot. Here are a list of recent games I had that illustrate that (skip to gold earned by champion):

Annivia game doubling the enemy mids CS https://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2730662909/45096153?tab=overview Comparing me and Xayah on here, she had the same number of assist, but 6 more kills. I had 60 more CS. Our gold was almost identical. In fact, most of the game I was above her gold because I was farming much better. Then compare me with Zoe. You can see the point that she stopped farming at.

Jinx game where I got no kills early - mid and we were behind: https://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2730240630/45096153?tab=overview I farmed up a lot and was able to pick up items to stay relevant and carry in the late game. If I had not been picking up every scrap of gold I could safely on the map we could have easily lost this.

A kill on average is worth about 15-18 cs. The more recurring kills you get on the same champion drop that value lower and lower. At around 0/4, the enemy champion is worth about as much as a wave of minions. The value of a kill is much more about shutting out the enemy from farming than the gold itself.

Builds: Idk why you are rushing a Zhonya against Karthas Kogmaw Garen. Especially the tabi call? I understand that Kogmaw autos a lot, but most of it comes from on hit magic effects, not the auto itself. If you really wanted a defensive item for dealing with their team; adaptive helm is way better. It blocks a lot of Karthas damage from his Q and E, and a lot Kogmaw damage from his W (especially when you consider guinsoo). It will give you less ap but make you much stronger. Unless you wanted it for karthas ult, but even then having more MR would probably ensure you took a low enough amount of damage to not be at risk. This is ignoring the fact that it would help you survive Elise. Zhonya's IS a good item on Vlad, but it should not just be blindly rushed.

Your kill participation is very low, especially for a mid laner. Compare it against mine http://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=sp33d+zer0. I seldom go sub 50% kill participation and that is STILL not a very good KP, especially for someone on a carry role. Yours tends to hover closer to 40%. You need to be playing with your team more. Pick up farm in a side lane, shove it out, rotate to your team, force a fight when someone goes to pick up the wave you pushed. This gives you easy 2v3s, 3v4s, and 4v5s. Make sure you are paying attention to when your jungler tries to set up a gank in another lane so you can try to be there to ensure the kills go down.

That's all I can give at this moment.
