The newly established competitive team Alpha Predator is actively searching for a Jungler. Tryouts will be held tonight and tomorrow. Selection for our teammates is a very serious process to ensure we get the best fit for our long term team. Before you can even tryout you must conduct an interview with the captain (myself), this is to ensure you have the right mindset our team is trying to establish so nobody's time is wasted. Below are a list of details from requirements, how to apply, and how tryouts will be conducted:

What We Are Looking For

  • Long term players
  • Humble players that are seeking self improvement
  • Can verbally communicate to their teammates
  • Willing to take feedback and adjust accordingly to team compositions and strategies
  • Team experience is NOT necessary, as long as you have the willingness to get out of the solo Q mindset

How Tryouts Will Be Conducted

Tryouts will only be hosted today and tomorrow. There will be a maximum of only three players that make it past the interview portion. Keeping our numbers and focus low allows us to fully play with the individual in order to see what skill he/she has and where their mindset is as a player. For some reason we do not find a good teammate among the three players we will host more tryouts from players we interviewed or repost if we are confident in what options we have left.

All matches during a player's tryout session will be normals (not ranked). Players can play whatever champions they are strongest to ensure they are playing to their best of their abilities. You will be graded on your communication, map awareness, and decision making.

How To Apply and Be Interviewed

Firstly you have to be interviewed before you can even attempted to tryout (as explained above). In order to be interviewed fill out the following application below to the best of your ability. Once you have filled out the application the team captain (myself) will send you a friend request. When you accept it MESSAGE ME because you may not accept it immediately after I sent it. Please be patient if it takes me a minute before replying for I may be talking to another applicant. Trolled applications or those who's availability does not fit the team's will not receive a friend request.

Summoner's Name: PRoXz Time Zone: MST Age: 22 M Rank: Gold 4 (Gold 2 earlier in the season). Jungle Champion Pool: Graves, Nidalee, Rek'sai, Fiddle, Ekko. Strengths: Been playing since early season 1, very experienced, knowledgeable, adaptable (Champion pool). Weaknesses / Areas for Improvement: Lee Sin, Ganking mid lane, I love ganking side lanes. Availability: All the time. Additional Comments (if any): My main account is PRoXz, but I am currently playing on a smurf (Drumstepftw) who is currently Silver 1.

Summoner's name : Durriken Time Zone: CST Age: 34 m Rank Silver 2 just droped from Gold... oh well lol Jungle Champion pool: Shen, Sejuani, Syvanna, Rengar, Udyr, WW, J4, Diana, Pretty much you name it. Tend to play more beef brawler jungles. Strengths: Good engages, feel for game, objectives. Weaknesses/ Areas for improvment: Hard carry I don't hard carry much I do some times but tend to get others stronger. Availability: A lot of free time. Day time when no class. and late nights. Additional Comments: I can also play top, some mid or support if needed, working on adc. I have use of a teamspeak server for communication. Can shot call or not does not matter. As long as we have one. Work together!

Strengths: communication, and shot calling, which leads to objective control,

Weaknesses / Areas for Improvement: sometimes when we are snowballing ill sit back and farm rather then keep pushing the lead (like towers) but to be honest usually that's because im getting tired lol

Availability: I work a 9-5 M-F I am usually on from 730 to midnight and weekends I am pretty much free

Strengths: I have the ability to create plays in situations that seem doubtful. Communication is a major key to success which turns over to wins. I also learn from my mistakes well, if I make a mistake in a game I wont make the same mistake again that game. When behind I think it is crucial to when the objectives, rather than worrying about setting up for the next team fight. Win the objective first and than plan for the team fight. Weaknesses / Areas for Improvement: I tend to start ganking to early in the game and can fall behind in levels when the ganks are unsuccessful. When carrying a game I tend to try unreasonable ganks, this is something I would obviously stop when competing for a team. Availability: I work during the day, followed by taking a online summer course. I am available most nights I would guess around 5 nights a week. Weekend Nights are good time to get some League in. Additional Comments (if any): Looking for a group of fellow summoner's who have a positive attitude, and want to have fun in a competitive environment. I also have skype to communicate.

Strengths: Im pretty good with warding around objectives, I play with some friends now in groups and usually am pretty good about communicating enemy jungler location if known, where I'm planning to gank, what objectives i wanna work towards, as well as when im initiating something.

Weaknesses / Areas for Improvement: I play very agressive sometimes, this works both in and out of my favor depending on who i play with, sometimes it puts me behind though and then i tend to struggle catching back up.

Availability: Most nights depending on when I am doing things Additional Comments (if any): I wanna find a group thats fun but also plays the game... I like having fun but its nice to actually try to win because who likes to sit around and lose all night. Im also pretty open to constructive criticism as long as its constructive

Strengths: Shot calling Baron/Drag, Smite stealing, Positioning depending on the type of champion I play, Building a champion depending on the situation (Not just 1 build per champ)

Weaknesses / Areas for Improvement: Early game ganks with assassins, clearing wards out of my jg (need to buy sweeper more often)

Availability: Mostly during the weekdays. Weekends depend on what is going on with my girlfriend (limited time while she is going to x-ray school) Also I start back to college late August so time will be limited to late evenings after that.

Additional Comments (if any): Looking to have a good time while being competitive. My highest rank this season was S1 solo queue all the way from bronze 3 but after a few weeks off I came back to many updates and lost my lead. Currently looking for some cool people to play with and enjoy the rest of the season.
