You don't need to be in Challenger series, you just need whoever going is going to be interested in what you're doing
basically you need to have a reason why a company wants to sponsor you... companies sponsor as a way to advertise ..
like in nascar all those product logos on the car are sponsors who paid the owner of the car for the space due to millions of people seeing their logo on the car via TV and in person at races
what do you have to offer to a company for their $ (products etc ) you need to have some kind of following or something worthy for the company to "sponsor " you
