Embers, a League of Legends Community Discord
Good evening, today I’d like to introduce you all to a new community discord for league of legends. A place where you can always find someone to play with, for far less hassle then having to post a topic on here and wait 10-20 minutes for someone to add you, another 3 minutes to get discord set up to voice chat, etc... This has been a long time coming, and is way past it’s due. I’d like to introduce you to Embers.
What is Embers?
We are a EST zone based League of Legends discord community. We were originally created 8 months ago by Taka Mikoto, Ouna aka Britwaffle, and myself; Sin. At the start we just wanted to continue keeping our friends close from our last discord community after it shut down. Yet now it has become so much more than that.
Our Dream
The goal we have is a simple one. To create a community where we have close relationships, but even a newcomer will always feel welcome. I personally use computer gaming to escape from real life in times of hardship or stress, and I feel like we all do the same in our own way. There should always be a place where you can go to just hang out with people who won’t judge you or start pointless drama, and we want that place to be here. It’s also my personal belief that nobody should ever have to play a game by themselves, and we want to help with that. I want us to eventually have hundreds and then thousands of members so there will always be someone you can game with.
