Tournament looking to provide better learning environment than Ranked 5s!

My name is Crack and I am the admin for the League of Legends Training Grounds tournament (no affiliation with the map). After speaking with a few teams I realized there is a great opportunity to help teams better themselves on the rift. I, personally, do not find ranked 5s the most conducive environment to practice so, who knows, maybe this will be better!

The premise is simple - 8 or 16 teams (depending on demand) playing some great games.

To register, just send me an email at [email protected] with the subject of [Team], your name and the name of your 4 players and subs (if applicable). Individuals can send an email with [Individual] in the subject line with their summoner name and position.

Prizes include $10 per player for the winning team plus $10 for the tournament MVP. I am also looking for ideas for some bonus prizes!

To be eligible to play you must be at least level 30 and play on the NA servers. You will also be required to play 3 summoner's rift games over the course of a week (probably on week nights) plus the potential to play a bo3 on the weekend. The tournament will begin on July 27th.

Some aspects you may not see in other tournaments include a team builder function and a summary statistic sheet for each team at the end of the tournament. The team builder function will comprise of a spreadsheet to help captains find individuals looking to play. Our statistician will also give every captain their summary sheet at the end of the tournament.

The format has been set up to optimize playing time for every team. It will consist of a group stage (groups of 4) and a bracket stage. The top 3 teams from each group move on to the bracket while the bottom teams will face off against each other in a friendly exhibition match. No reason all teams can't have more fun and games!
