Welcome and thanks for your interest! We are Catalyst Coaching, a free and voluntary coaching org. We are a team of 8 (recently 11) coaches and 26+ students currently and after a recent expansion have plenty slots free ;) But I can't find a website?!??!?! This must be a scam??!?! It's in the pipeline and we are not a scam, relax! We are free and poor so it's taking a while to rig up since we use a pretty unique system but we have been officially running for a couple months now with astounding success.

- We have 14 student slots and accept students from ANY SERVER as long as you speak & understand English to a reasonable degree.

What exactly do we do & offer?

  • We offer a free one hour coaching session per week (possibly more if you put in the effort!). A coaching session can be numerous things as we have developed a range of techniques tailored for our students: replay analysis, recorded analysis, student analysis, stream spectate, student stream commentate, Q & A, duoQ - normals only and some other stuff!

  • We give you your own excel student profile for you to fill in, a log to maintain, a goal section, a match-history section and plenty other resources such as original content made by our coaches, flow-chart itemsets and round the clock interaction on our dedicated discord server which is usually active 24/7!

  • A close-knit, small but thriving community which offers a friendly and encouraging environment.

But it's not ALL fun and games....

To be a student you will have to fit and adhere to a very structured criteria (as follows):

  1. You must be Bronze-Gold in rank (or looking to begin ranked ASAP)

  2. You must be 17+y/o

  3. Be willing and able to play a MINIMUM of 10 ranked games a week

  4. Be willing and able to check your personal profile daily and log the above 10 ranked games in the required table.

  5. Be willing and able to book your mandatory coaching session a week

  6. Able to stick to a champion pool of 4 minimum, 6 maximum across two main roles (with minimum, but reasonable, changes to these on an infrequent basis).

  7. Capable of communicating with the coaching team regularly about any upcoming absences or breaks (it's long-term so these are expected but if you go MIA without a word we will remove you).

As you can see we are a very thorough and organized lot. We have a fantastic community and while it looks very complicated it doesn't take long to settle in and get going! As long as you reciprocate the effort we put into you as a student you'll reap the benefits! are you at all interested in coaching teams by chance ? or just solo players either way its nice to see people finally doing this for the community.

Shot Calls, Understanding Strategy, When To Avoid Casualties, are some of the reasons why i fit suit in becoming a student. I've recently been avoiding ranked games out of frustration and anger, and i've also quit trying to main support out of frustration to the team. So I've been trying to find roles that fit me most but i seem to be having troubles with that. I'm not begging or playing the petty card to receive help, i just believe out of intuition that i would be a good candidate for a student to be coached.

TBH I want coaching to climb not coaching from an Unranked Players, especially IDK I think after checking your stats you don't seem too good. No Offense

But I rather if you can prove you're Diamond+ at least to be offering this free coaching otherwise it might just be a waste of time if I tried to learn from a lower skill/elo I already surpass

  5. Knowledge is power, so I do my best to gain as much knowledge about the game as I can by watching LCK and streams and high elo guides. I've been putting in a lot of effort to improve my gameplay and I think a coach would be the perfect fit for me.

I personally don't have time to play the minimum games but I think it's really cool what you guys are doing! I'm kinda sick of seeing coaching programs that cost money when the game itself doesn't. Is there a mailing list/ YouTube channel or anything to stay updated? -Best of luck
