[LMF] EME Gaming looking for Coaches + Analysts
Hey everyone. EME Gaming is currently looking to acquire two analysts, two mechanical coaches, and one strategy coach for our two ranked teams. One team is pushing into challenger, while the other is new and is still practicing. What we're looking for: We're looking for people with strong and effective communication skills that can work in a group environment. We expect positive personalities in addition to dedicated people that will be present at practices (Most Weeknights for 2-3 hours) and will bring serious growth to the table. No prior experience is necessary, and we're more than happy to work with you to help you acclimate to the position. We must again emphasize that communication is one of the most important things in a team setting, and as long as you can effectively communicate we won't have any problems. I will now outline the specific roles of each position.
Strategy coaches will:
-Have a strong grasp of the metagame and team play. -Effectively communicate with the team and other coaches in a positive way. -Pay attention to the professional scene and adopt strategies they utilize. -Draft documents or graphics displaying tactics at various points throughout the game based on certain conditions. -Keep in touch with EME Staff and let us know how the team is doing and what else you need to be successful. -Work closely with the Analyst to help highlight the strategies that will be more beneficial for the team at any given time.
Analysts will:
-Keep records of team performance and benchmarks. -Help Identify trends and areas of improvement based on statistical data. -Use basic mathematical and statistical skills to keep everything in order and improve on the current systems of tracking. -Work closely with both of the other coaches by suggesting what areas specifically a player is struggling in.
Mechanical coaches will:
-Be strong mechanical players with a large amount of experience in various matchups of all positions, while also maintaining a strong understanding of all champions. -Pay attention to lane match-ups and offer constructive criticism about a player's decision making and approach. -Help the player practice in whatever way they may need in order to improve their play. -Work closely with the Analyst to help identify the specific areas that require improvement in each player.
With all of this in mind, it's important to note that these positions will not be paid, but will give real coaching, professional, and management experience that will benefit you going forward into both the Esports scene and life in general (assuming many people that play League are in their high teens to low twenties). Please do not apply if you're someone who will simply get bored and quit on us within a week. We take this very seriously and would like to see our teams do well, as it could potentially open doors for everyone involved (including you) to have access to some truly incredible things.
