I got trapped in bronze like that. I had low MMR, partly because I had to switch roles from Sup main to ADC main, partly because I started playing at the beginning of the season so I was playing against a lot of smurfs and people that got crappy placement games and belonged in much higher elos, and partly because of with your typical "troll" and "filthy casual". I got trolled a lot, most of my games were full of feeders, and I was playing a mediocre adc game, at best. But I kept playing and learning champs, learning how to counter-build and counter-play, and generally learning how to anticipate player movements and behavior. After about 400 games I didnt belong in low Bronze anymore, but I couldnt climb, because my MMR and winrate was absolute trash, and trolls. I kept getting matched with teammates that had played less than 100 games, but against opponents that had played more than 300. I got trolled constantly because of the low winrate. As soon as people saw it, they wanted to make a contribution to keeping me "trapped in elo hell". I got trolled for being a chick, for builds my team didnt recognize as "quality", by people that wanted to flame/troll/feed and then report (AKA tattletale for naughty words) and just for lulz. There is a way out. You need to make a new account, create an generic and low-profile screen name and dont draw negative attention to yourself, and start over with a new match history, elo, and MMR. The grind to 30 is lame, but I promise you, it worked for me. If you are actually good, it will work for you too. As soon as I got a new account and let people think I was a guy, took a boring summoner name, didnt take off-meta champs, and didnt say anything in chat, I got a decent placement and climbed easily.
