Toplaner/Support LF Team [Gold/Plat]
Hi Guys,
Let me introduce myself: My name is Daniel (Dan), I'm 17 years old, from Germany and just graduated school. Therefore I've got a lot of time, and since SoloQ is frustrating, I'm looking for a team. I want this team to have a scheduled week, meaning that we meet at least twice a week for more than two games (scheduled also means that we really meet, and not postpone every practise because someone is not attending, because he'd rather sleep or meet with friends, you can meet them on another day). Time does not matter here, since there's no more school or such stuff :). I do have Skype, Teamspeak and Curse Voice. My English is fine, communication will be no problem.
Ingame people know me as Velerate. I started playing in Season 3 and watched LCS and other streams ever since. Therefore I believe my understanding of the game is quite good. I mained Toplane from the beginning on. I'm not a person to carry games directly, but rather indirectly by killing the enemy carries, tanking everything the enemy throws at my team or peeling for my carries. Going into Season 4, I aimed for Gold. I reached it quite fast, improving to Gold II til the end of the season. This Season, I'd like to get to Platinum, but since I got demoted to Gold IV from Gold I, there's not a whole lot of motivation right now.
Anyways, I've been playing in some ranked teams before. They usually consisted of lower Gold players, which was mostly the reason, why I left them (combined with the fact that they rarely played teamrankeds). Therefore I'd like to apply to a team consisting of Platinum-level players.
Support
Support is my second favourite role, right after Toplane. This is mostly because there are only a few good ADC's around. I'd like to apply for a team as support, because I am completely sure that my ADC does not suck. Also I feel like being a well-practised botlane is really fun. It establishes a much bigger potential if both guys know what the other is capable of.
My Champion Pool: In tiers:
- Thresh, Leona, Nautilus
- Annie, Alistar, Blitzcrank, Braum, Janna, Kayle, Lissandra, Lulu, Morgana, Nami
- Bard (not bought yet), Nunu, Sona, Soraka, Taric
As you can see, I prefer tanky champions. This does not mean that I'm not able to play rather squishy supports, but that I'd need to practise them a little more.
Toplane
The biggest weakness of mine is probably the laning phase. I know how to stay safe and farm, but when it comes to outplaying the enemy, winning the lane and snowballing the game off of that, I've got some issues (probably the reason why I'm not successful in SoloQ). As strengths I would mention the above-named safe farming, a quite wide champion pool (gonna come to that next), the ability to laneswap and my teamfighting.
My Champion Pool: Aatrox - Dr. Mundo - Gnar - Irelia - Jax - Kassadin - Lee Sin - Lissandra - Lulu - Malphite - Maokai - Morgana - Nunu - Pantheon - Quinn - Renekton - Riven - Rumble - Ryze - Shen - Shyvana - Sion - Trundle - Vi - Vladimir - Volibear - Wukong - Xin Zhao - Yasuo - Zac Additionally, I'm about to purchase and learn Rek'Sai and I can somehow play Hecarim, although I do not own him.
Obviously, I play them all on different levels, but overall I'd say I'm able to pick up all the champs named above, whatever is needed. In case the meta shifts, I can pick up and learn the meta champions.
I hope I did not forget anything. In case I did, you still have some questions, or you're interested in trying me out/putting a team together, please add me Ingame as 'Velerate'.
Looking forward to hearing from you guys,
