I play with two irl friends every day, on curse.
I recently carried myself out of bronze on rumbles back.
Ranks Me- mid/top main. Play everyday multiple matches a day. Do my YouTube research, and watch LcS whenever possible. silver 5 as of yesterday. Bronze 5 to silver took about a week or two.
Buddy 1 goes mid/top and flexes with me. Silver 4 on one account gold on the other. Buddy 2 loves adc/support. Bronze 1 (duos with me almost every match, never have any regrets.)
Our game knowledge is beyond that of people our rank and we are actively trying to improve. And we are always on the hunt looking to fill a ranked team.

Quick note: Reason I left is because I felt that ranked teammates I just met on boards wouldn't go well, we'll all afk and rarely come together again for a ranked team battle. I'm not saying any of you suck, I'm saying I hesitated on queue because I didn't know you. Skype would be a really great idea for communicated ganks and stuff, but sadly I don't have a mic.
Also, the only support I am great at is Thresh, and if he gets picked or banned, then I am screwed for life. So it is formidable that I leave so I won't insta lose bot lane if thresh is unavailable to me.
