LF Duo for tonight Unranked - Gold Elo (And looking for Coaching advice)

Gonna play a few ranked games I'm unranked, last season silver on this account, my main is plat 3 (you can ask me for main name if you want over private message). Also just because my main was plat don't expect me to play like I'm a god. I will probably play better then the majority but if I play bad don't flame me for being a smurf and feeding lol. Also looking for criticism on getting more consistent so I can reach diamond this season. Prefer if someone around D4+ could give me some advice on how they stay in the zone and stay consistent. What champs they find successful to carry with, and what roles are the best right now in solo que specifically. I am a decently mechanically skilled player and I have a deep champ pool and I know this game extremely well. But clearly not well enough if I can't get to freakin diamond in 4 and a half years. I feel like I can make it getting to plat is something the average player cannot do so I know I have the potential to reach diamond I just need some guidance. ust something over private message or a skype conversation nothing serious.
