League of Legends Name:
Age: 23
Rank: Silver 5, no one likes to believe me but this is from Decay after a semester of focusing on school and taking time off league.
Do you have teamspeak (if you don't have it, you need it): Ofcourse I have teamspeak been gaming since I was 3 years old Voice chat is always important.
Role (just 1): ADC
Preferred Champions in this role (5 max): Ezreal, Jinx, Vayne, Caitlyn, Draven.... Kalista is coming up really nicely though, just not enough played time to really put her in my top 5.
Strengths/Weaknesses:
S: I'm a well educated person who understand the immense amount of variables that go into every game on the rift.
W: This education can sometimes bite me in the ass when playing with younger, or less mature acting summoners. Which I presume on a team will be less of an issue.
S: With a calm, objective thinking, open minded ear to hear me out my game Logic can be extremely sound, which partially attributes to your next question. When I get to know people, and a trust is established I have been an extremely successfully shot caller in my past teams.
W: Some people consider this a weakness some people consider it a strength... its debatable. But when I lose a couple games in a row, I don't like to stop queueing if I still have time for games. I will take the time to analyze what went wrong in these games (strength) but not so much time that everyone has dispersed to eat dinner, go watch movie etc... Dont stop queueing just cause you got discouraged and lost a few matches. be like Taylor and shake it off.
Would you like to shot call?: Once a relationship is established Yes. but Ive noticed over the years that the role of shot caller Isn't really given to anyone. Someone just winds up being the more vocal person of the group. That persons judgement may not be the best, but their team will help him/her learn, and that person remains vocal while also learning alot about the game. but if right off the bat no one is vocal or you guys really want someone to dictate games just to see how they do with that. I would love to shot call. In order for my team that I left to not get demoted I coached their replacement player and wound up shotcalling alot of their games for the whole team. Coaching is a fun dynamic and I would appreciate that role on a team as well, if a place is available.
Can you handle constructive criticism?: If the criticism has logic that isnt circular, has some sort of evidence other then (well it works best for me). Im willing to hear anyone out. But just know as a Bachelors going into Masters in Psychology I am trained to not live a dogmatic lifestyle, dogmatic meaning when someone tells me something is "true" or "fact" I personally take it to the source of the information in order to figure that out for myself.
I am always open to new ideas, new ways of thinking about a problem, new ways of solving an old problem etc, just know that I'll try your idea, and then do research to see how that idea works overall and what we can do to fix it, or bring it closer to what other people are actually replicating in their games.
Do you want to play casually or seriously?: I play every game very seriously. and if you guys are on the Eastern NA Timezone playing dominantly during the evenings I would be able to attend 4 practices a week.
What Timezone do you live in?: Eastern NA
One attribute of your personality: Rational
Why you want to join this team: I have played on and Lead teams in the past but my Junior year in college was very difficult so I departed after reaching Plat 3 in 5's. I loved the experienced. The first like 15-20 games, you dont really feel it. Once you get into your team and really know eachothers limits and playstyles, the game just completely changes, ideas can actually come to life that would never even be fathomed in solo queue, and I feel like this preseason with all the tuning and champions riot is about to pump out is a very effective time to join a team and get some grinding done.
