Berg Nation Holiday Invitational

Format:

12 teams assigned into 4 groups of 3. Double Round Robin- Top 2 teams from each group advance. 11/17-11/20 Quarterfinals- Bo3 12/1-12/4 Semifinals- Bo5 12/8-12/9 3rd Place Series- Bo5 12/17 Finals- Bo5 12/18

Team Roster:

Teams must consist of players using their main account. Smurf Accounts will not be accepted into the Berg Nation Holiday Invitational. Rosters may consist of up to 7 players. 5 starters and 2 subs. Teams must have at least 4 players Diamond tier or lower in Solo Queue/flex to be eligible. Finalized rosters must be submitted to goldberg1122 by November 16. Tournament Organizers/Staff will have final ruling on eligibility.

Schedule:

Game times may change. Captains will be informed if rescheduling is necessary. Game times will all be in EST. All rosters must be finalized and provided to goldberg1122 by 11/16 Group stage will run 11/17-11/20 Starts 8pm EST 6 games total per night. Quarterfinals will run 12/1-12/4 8pm EST Semifinals will run 12/8-12/9 8pm EST 3rd Place Series will be 12/17 8pm EST Finals will run 12/18 8pm EST

Prizing:

Top 3 teams will be awarded prizes. Prizing has not yet been finalized. The prizes for the teams are being crowdfunded by donors and viewers of goldberg1122's stream. A portion of the contributed prize pool will be donated to charity.

Streaming:

By participating in the tournament you agree that your gameplay and voice (in some instances) may be streamed on twitch.tv Streaming the tournament games is permitted. The main stream for the tournament is https://www.twitch.tv/goldberg1122, although it is allowed to stream it, absolutely NO ADVERTISING streams other than the official tournament stream while participating. In-game spectating is permitted, however only the shoutcasters will be joining the pregame lobby as official spectators. Although streaming is permitted, Hate Speech and Verbal Abuse will not be permitted while participating in the tournament if you choose to stream your game. Violators will be disqualified from the tournament.

Sportsmanship/Conduct:

Be respectful to all players and tournament staff while participating. Pauses may only be used to resolve connection issues. A ready check must be performed prior to unpause. All chat (/all) other than that to communicate pause/unpause situations is prohibited No spam pinging Toxicity, Cyber-Bullying, Passive Aggressive behavior, or messages meant to distract/inhibit the other team will be punished based on severity by Tournament Staff. The Official Berg Nation Discord is required to be used by teams participating. If you have background noise, issues, etc... please use a push to talk microphone. A player from the winning team may be asked after each game/series for an interview, please be prepared to have a representative from the team talk to a caster.

Additional Information:

Team captains must add goldberg1122 as a friend on League of Legends in order to be invited to tournament lobby. Higher seeded team will have side selection in games 1,3,5 of Best of scenarios. Lower seeded team will have side selection in games 2,4 of Best of scenarios. If a team is unable to play within 10 minutes of gametime they will forfeit the game/match.
