OUR TEAM PLAY ON THE WEST COAST AND ALL LIVE IN WEST COAST TIME, IF YOU DO AS WELL THAT WOULD BE JUST FANTASTIC!

Link to this SAME EXACT POST except on reddit

Right now, we're on hiatus, due to school, work, and some drama involving personal lives that ended with us kicking our support player. The details of which are unimportant and super lame.

Our team "Night Owls" is currently ranked Bronze 1. When we made the team, we were worse players and did poorly in provisionals. We made the decision as a team to climb out of bronze and make our way as high as we could, however due to availability and individual skill at the time of our starting this climb, we haven't made it far. HOWEVER, with recent performances in normal games, soloqueue, and general team discussions, I believe that in Season 5 we can achieve plat or higher with just a bit of time and some hard work.

Team Profiles:

Top Laner- "TSM MileyDyrus" (aka Tony) First off, I know what you're thinking. No, it's not that MileyDyrus. This is our friend, who is Gold V and not Diamond 1. A talented player since Season 2, he excels at winning lane and drawing enemy jungle pressure. His on-point teleports and remarkable teamfighting abilities leave him as a force to be reckoned with by his opponents and with good reason. Unless he's completely shut down, Tony will be a large threat at all points in the game. He leads an aggressive early game with a heavier emphasis on trading than farming and will win most duels. His favorite picks include Ryze and Irelia, but he is more than competent on all meta, and some non-meta champions.

Jungler- "Lorfiend" (aka Elliot) Often criticized for playing too aggressively, I work as hard as I can for my laners and my team to snowball any advantage and make plays. I work heavily to maintain dominant vision control over the map, and consistently outfarm and outpressure the enemy jungler. I am significantly better at smite-stealing than I am at just normal smites. I am also the team's primary early-game shotcaller. My favorite picks include Kha'Zix, Vi, and Jarvan IV, but I'm able to play a wide array of junglers of all styles.

Mid Laner- "Aspry" (aka Kevin Aspry) The most mechanically talented player on the team, Aspry leads the team with superior play and as our final shotcaller. If a call is made, Aspry says whether it is executed or not, also, the later the game goes, the more he is relied on for team decision making. Don't let his brilliance as a leader fool you though, this skilled sololaner will outfarm, outplay, and outright kill his lane opponent, and often their jungler, with minimal effort. His roaming and pressure on the enemy jungle is worth note, as well as his emphasis on vision control of river and the enemy jungle, even if behind. His favorite picks include Zed, Orianna, Syndra, and LeBlanc, though his Xerath and Ziggs are also worth mentioning, and he performs admirably on many other powerful picks in the mid lane.

ADC- "Lmamel" (aka Mamel) Our team's "silent killer". Where Mamel isn't always the one making big plays, or hogging the spotlight, if given a chance, he will run away with a game. His aggressive positioning and emphasis on outfarming his opponents make for a scary beast mid to late game. However, without a consistent support to shotcall for him and set up kills, he's left looking like he underperforms. Speaking as someone who spent a lot of time babysitting the bot lane for our old roster, I can say that Mamel is very mechanically talented, just sometimes unsure. He really needs a support to communicate with him and tell him what to do. If he gets that, he'll come out huge. His favorite picks include Lucian, Tristana, and Corki, however he's never afraid to pull out his pocket Ezreal, Vayne, or Caitlyn. As a talented ADC though, he can show up on almost any pick and surprise the enemy team.

Support- "You" (aka whatever your name is) What we want from you, specifically: Mid to High gold or above (you must be at least this Gold III to ride). There will be exceptions for this, however know that for our overall opinion of you, this will factor highly. The second highest factor is not having many ranked games. We want players that are improving. If you have 700 games at Gold III 0lp, you might not be right for us. Again, not a dealbreaker, but another factor to account for. Lastly, we want synergy. This can only be built by playing with us, which I invite all applicants to do, as seeing how you match up is important. How is your lane? How to you teamfight? Do you shotcall for your lane? Do you roam? Who do you play as? How is your vision control? All questions we'll see answered, hopefully, when we get some games in with you. Our preferred picks for you would be Nami, Janna, Thresh, though other champions that you may excel at are completely welcome, generally for us, meta is better.

So, our hiatus ends right around November 1st. We'll be spending this time interviewing and playing games with new supports who may be interested. Around November, the following things will have happened-

Mamel will have a new computer Aspry will have his computer fixed I (Lorfiend) will work mostly weekdays instead of every weekend

Once those hit, we'll be able to play most nights each weekend, be it late or early, exact schedule TBA. We realize that starting consistent play Nov. 1 leaves only 10 days in the remaining season, but we're looking to play more through the preseason and into/throughout the new season, with whatever exciting changes those may bring.

We operate almost exclusively out of teamspeak3, which will be required when playing games with us.

So yeah, that's about it. We're currently four friends, ages 15-19, who enjoy playing league at the highest level we can, and hold ourselves to a high standard. When not playing league we think about our role and how to best perform it. We're always serious, regardless or whether we can play as a team or not, and hopefully, there is someone out there, (hopefully you), with the patience and the drive to join us when the time comes. I'll be the one reviewing these primarily, but every applicant will be screened by and meet the full team, and play games with us, as a team, or just as individuals.

Leave a comment here if interested, just give the following info: Name- (IGN, real, or both) Age- (optional) Favorite champs- (Who are you best at, who do you enjoy most) Timezone- (West coast preferred) Rank/Op.gg profile- (link it or just tell us your rank) A little about yourself- (Anything else you'd like to tell us)

I think I'd be interested in trying out, IGN is Serneth, I'm currently Plat II in solo queue playing whatever would cause the least drama in champ select. My favorite support would be Janna simply because I have the most experience with her. I don't currently main any role, but my main goal recently is improving map awareness and I think a good stint as a support player is the best way to do that.

I'm on pacific time and havn't been able to line up a time for my group of friends to play 5's for any prolonged period of time, which is why I'm looking around for a team to play with.

The only other thing I feel like I should mention is that I was the proud captain of team "Loeloherewego" which held the lowest ranked 5 ELO NA before the conversion to the league system. This was intentional. Really.
